    ?

The more Dong Weicheng avoided, the more Jun Tao wanted to drag him home.  The two of them tugged endlessly at the gate of the police station, like two violent children.

"I won't go! I won't go home! I don't even remember my home, and I won't come back when I go out. What face can I say?" Dong Weicheng couldn't stop beating his son's arm, which was covered with wrinkles.  His face was shaking continuously, and the blood vessels swelled one by one, as if the eyeballs were about to pop out of their sockets.

He had been ill for too long, and fell ill after returning home from the cadre school.  Lung disease still has a whole body of problems, and now I have to accept that I may not be able to take care of myself in the future, and even directly become an elderly patient with dementia.  All kinds of things made Dong Weicheng's emotions that had been accumulated for many years exploded at the same time.

Dong Fang pulled her father from Jun Tao's arms, and while protecting her father, she murmured: "Dad, if we don't go home, let's take a walk outside and relax."

Dong Weicheng still refused to go home, so in a hurry, Jun Tao asked Xiaoxiao to bring Aixiao over.  Ai Xiao was shocked when she saw her grandfather look like this.

"Grandpa Let's go, I'm afraid of Aixiao here." Aixiao poked her head out from behind her mother timidly, and shouted at Dong Weicheng.

Dong Weicheng's messy hair was pasted on his scalp, his whole face was blocked.  His whole body was trembling, like a piece of dead wood floating in the sea.

Dong Fang couldn't see his father's expression clearly, but when he heard his granddaughter's call, was he joyful, sad, helpless, or in a state of perplexity?  No one present could see through this.

But obviously, the arrival of Ai Xiao eased the atmosphere a lot.  Even though Dong Wei struggled intentionally and was already exhausted, hearing his granddaughter's voice made the soft part of his heart more or less revealed again.

After returning home, I should take medicine and take a rest. It seems that life has temporarily returned to calm.  But Dong Fang didn't dare to take it lightly, she was always afraid that one day when she was not at home, what would happen if her father got into the wrong again?

Yuan Cizhong was already familiar with the affairs of Yu County, and Dong Fang formally appointed him as the director of the Yu County branch factory.  As for herself, she stayed in Jin County, serving her father's soup and medicine every day, and treating her father with all her heart.

However, the sky did not fulfill the wishes of people. After the summer, Dong Weicheng's illness became more and more serious.  His mental state was getting worse and worse, and sometimes he would call Dong Fang's long-dead mother's name in a daze.

In the morning, Dong Weicheng started coughing up blood. Dong Fang wanted to take him to the hospital, but Dong Weicheng refused to agree.  He said he was afraid of dying in the hospital, and even more afraid of not being able to go home.

Seeing her father begging bitterly, Dong Fang only felt the pain in her heart like a knife and a sword.  Decoctions and tonics, even if they tried to find a way to ask the doctor to come to the house to take a look, it was useless.  Dong Weicheng stared blankly at the ceiling, as if he was waiting for the day when he died anytime.

Jun Tao brought Xiaoxiao and the child to visit several times, but they did not dare to disturb their father.  Every time I come quietly, take a good look, go downstairs to listen to my sister say a few words, and then sigh.

Dong Weicheng was already on the verge of death, and any slight movement outside would make him feel uncomfortable and frown.  Dong Fang had no choice but to block all the relatives and friends who came to visit, in order to keep the old house absolutely quiet.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
