    Chapter Forty

It seems to be on the stage, behind the curtain.  You know that the curtain may be drawn at any time, and you and the people around you will be exposed to everyone at any time.  The closer you get to that moment, the more nervous you become.

But you also know that moment will come eventually.

But just behind such a pitifully thin curtain, Nanqiao seemed to experience a more exciting taste.  Here, in a hidden corner that is very likely to be discovered by someone in the next moment, she clings to the man's shoulders, and her whole body is firmly embraced by him.

The distance between the lips became zero, closer than any moment.  When the breath blends together, there is a mutual smell, which is worth the most expensive and richest perfume in the world.

Nanqiao indulged himself to kiss him, his whole body trembling unconsciously, including his heart and soul.

In the darkness, this kind of temptation is like the song of the sea monster that makes people lose their minds, pulling the remaining reason into the bottomless sea bit by bit.

I don't know how long it took, when they were kissing tirelessly, Nanqiao's cell phone rang suddenly.

The two of them shook slightly, and distanced themselves.

Nanqiao lowered his head to get his phone, and saw two words on the screen: Mom.

The woman asked her in a low voice: "Nanqiao, where have you been?"

Leaning in Yi Jiayan's arms, she said nonchalantly, "Go to the toilet."

The person on the other end paused, then repeated: "Are you in the toilet?"

"Well, in the toilet." Nanqiao replied firmly.

"You and Jiayan went to the bathroom one by one, and answered the phone by the other, and then you didn't come back for ten minutes, and the end of the movie couldn't be caught up in a while." The mother was still worried about the child, complained a few words, and finally told her, "Hurry up."  Come back."

Nanqiao replied yes with a smile, then hung up the phone.

The screen was still on, and with this dim light, she looked up at Yi Jiayan, but only saw a pair of eyes that were brighter than this light.

He stretched out his hand to caress her lips, touched her lips finally, and took her hand: "Let's go, we're going back."

But before she walked out of the darkness, she stretched out her arms from behind him and hugged him, whispering: "But I don't want to go back."

The man froze, put his hand on the back of her hand, and said with a smile: "If possible, I don't want to go back."

It was delayed for another two or three minutes, and it couldn't be delayed any longer. In the end, Yi Jiayan led her to open the curtain and walked out of the darkness.

On the other side, in the well-lit bathroom, Huang Yulan held her mobile phone, looked at the empty women's bathroom, and didn't move for a while.

She was worried that Nanqiao hadn't returned to her seat for a long time, maybe it was her menstrual period, so she came to take a look, but the people in the toilet came and went, until all the doors of the compartments were opened, she didn't see Nanqiao either.

When she made the call, she stood in the empty toilet and asked Nanqiao, "Where are you?"

Nanqiao told her so firmly: "I'm in the toilet."

And she was holding the mobile phone, staring blankly at the empty cubicle, but in the end she couldn't ask: "I'm also in the toilet, didn't I see you?"

Huang Yulan was the first to return to her seat.

In the darkness, she hunched over, walked in from the edge of the sixth row lightly, and sat down beside her husband.

Yi Chongyang turned his head and asked her, "Where is South Bridge?"

She paused and said, "Come right back."

After a while, Nanqiao and Yi Jiayan came back one after another.  Nanqiao was a little earlier, and Yi Jiayan was two minutes behind her.

After sitting down, Nanqiao whispered to his mother, "I have a little diarrhea."

The mother glanced at her. In the darkness, her daughter's face was somewhat blurred, but there was a tinge of apricot color on her cheeks, watery eyes, and a smile on her lips.

She nodded and said, "Go back tonight and rest early, drink plenty of hot water, and take some medicine if you still have diarrhea."

Then Yi Jiayan came back. He didn't explain after sitting down, but just put the phone back in his coat pocket, indicating that the call was over.

On the big screen, Lin Zhenxin, who had grown up, stood outside Andy Lau's concert, nervously took out her mobile phone and called the number on the note, anxiously waiting for the surprise from her idol.

Who knew that someone called her name, she turned around in a daze, and saw the young man who had gone far away from her life appear in front of her for the first time in an adult posture, with a smile on his mouth, and slowly put the phone down from his ear  .

Although it was many years late, he finally came back with her dream.

      "Because of me?"

    "a small part."

"Then why is there still a large part of it?" A voice with a sudden decrease in laughter.

Nanqiao laughed, and told him in a cheerful voice: "It's Ah Jin. I heard from Shen Qian that Ah Jin is going to sign a contract with a record company, and he won't have to sing in bars from now on."

"So only give me a small part of the happiness, and leave most of it to your Ah Jin?" Yi Jiayan pointed out this point calmly.

Nanqiao laughed even harder, "I said, aren't you jealous?"

    "So what?" He even admitted.

Nanqiao deliberately teased him, and still fanned the flames here: "Who told you to stay so far away from me, I almost forgot who Yi Jiayan is."

"Then shouldn't I panic and fly to you right away?" The person over there asked in a low voice.

"Then fly over here." Nanqiao's voice was soft, and after a while, he said with a smile, "I miss you very much, Yi Jiayan."

The man was silent for a moment, and then he said, "Turn back."

    "What?" Nanqiao didn't respond.

The next moment, the glass on the left was tapped softly, dunk, two very dull and crisp sounds.

She turned her head with the phone in surprise, and saw a man standing in the corridor separated by a glass wall, wearing a black coat, holding a black iphone in his hand, standing there calmly and quietly staring at her.

She was stunned, and she came back to her senses after a while, and ran out of the gate quickly, all the way to him.

"You, why are you here?" It was an unbelievable voice.

But he saw that he put away his mobile phone in a leisurely manner, stretched out his hand to pull her into his arms, and said casually: "If you don't come again, I'm afraid you only have your Ah Jin in your eyes, how do you write Yi Jiayan?"  I don't even know."

She nestled against his chest and laughed sullenly.

The man lowered his head, looked at the pitch-black hair of the little girl in his arms, and couldn't help but pecked lightly. He didn't mention a word. He almost walked around the library before finally finding out about her.  .

Miscalculation, miscalculation.  It seems that next time if you want to surprise the little girl and do something romantic, you have to do your homework first and figure out the complicated terrain.
