    ?

Hearing the cough suddenly appearing behind me, Cao Ming and I were taken aback.

When I turned my head to look, I didn't find anyone coughing.

I turned my head and looked at Cao Ming. Cao Ming shrugged his shoulders at me, but he didn't see the coughing person either.

Just when I was wondering, the cough came again.

This time, with a coughing sound, an old man appeared in front of us.

Looking at the old man who appeared in front of us, Cao Ming and I were stunned.

Originally, I thought there was no one living here, but I didn't expect to see another old man here.

"Master, do you live here?" After a moment of silence, Cao Ming asked.

Unexpectedly, the old man didn't look at us at all, and ignored Cao Ming's question, and walked straight to the stone houses.

When the old man was about to reach the stone houses, he stopped suddenly.

Just when I was wondering why the old man didn't move on, a clear and clear child's voice came from the stone house.

    "grandfather."

Following the child's voice, a little boy came out of the stone house bouncing.

After the boy walked to the old man, the old man stroked the boy's head with his hand.

At this time, the old man turned his head and looked at us.

Seeing the old man looking at us, I stepped forward and asked softly, "Master, what exactly is this place?"

The old man sighed and said: "You don't belong here, you should leave here, otherwise you will get into trouble."

"We know, we're leaving now." After speaking, I pulled Cao Ming and was about to turn around and leave.

But who knows, Cao Ming remained motionless, staring at the little boy next to the old man.

"What's wrong with you, why don't you leave?" Looking at Cao Ming who was motionless, I asked.

Cao Ming waved his hand to me, motioning me to keep silent.

I saw Cao Ming walking slowly to the side of the little boy, and when passing by the old man, the old man didn't stop him.

"What's your name?" Cao Ming squatted in front of the little boy and asked softly.

    "My name is Cao Ming."

When I heard the four words from the boy's mouth, my heart beat violently.

Although the boy's voice was not loud, it sounded like a thunder in my ears.

"What did you say? What did you say your name was?" I ran to the little boy and asked loudly.

"It seems that my guess is right. I said why I look so familiar with this place. So this is the place where I lived when I was a child." Cao Ming stood up slowly and walked towards the old man.

When Cao Ming walked up to the old man, he suddenly knelt down on the ground.

"You're finally back." The old man looked at Cao Ming, who was kneeling on the ground, without any surprise on his face.

"I'm back, but everything has changed here." Kneeling on the ground, Cao Ming showed a trace of sadness on his face.

Listening to the conversation between the two of them, I was a little confused.

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"I'll explain to you when I get back, let's go." Then, Cao Ming kowtowed to the old man again, stood up, and walked in the direction he came from without looking back.

Hearing what Cao Ming said, I froze for a moment, smiled at the old man, turned around and followed Cao Ming out.

Along the way, Cao Ming didn't talk to me, he just kept walking forward.

I don't know how long we walked in the passage. By the time we walked out of the ancestral hall, the sky was already bright.

Gao Yuhan and Li Wei were still sleeping in the car, and they didn't know if their work was done.

I walked to the front of the car and pulled the door of the van, and Deng Bo woke up first.

"Why are you still sleeping? What time is it?" Looking at the sleepy Deng Bo, I asked.

"It's 8:30 in the morning, what's the matter?" Deng Bo took out his mobile phone to look at it, and replied to me.

I nodded and woke up Gao Yuhan and Li Wei.

    "Are things done?" I asked.

Gao Yuhan nodded to me and said, "It's all done, it's just a matter of them taking the bait."

"Yes." I nodded and said, "Cao Ming and I will sleep for a while, let's go back."

"Where are we going?" When Deng Bo heard that he was going back, his face was full of joy.

Deng Bo quickly waved his hand and said, "There is no need for the fare, it is right that we make friends."

"The fare must be paid, and it's not like you don't pay for refueling." Then, I took out 500 yuan from my pocket and handed it to Deng Bo.

But Deng Bo didn't want to say anything, and he kept talking as if he was making friends.

Helpless, he had no choice but to agree to Deng Bo, and no longer insisted on giving him money.

After getting in the car, I pushed Cao Ming who was next to me and asked, "Can I talk now?"

Cao Ming ignored me, his face kept facing out of the window, and he couldn't see his expression.

Just as we drove out of Wangjia Village, I looked back and found that the old man and the boy were waving at us.  (Remember the site URL: www.hlnovel.com
