Shi Pingyang and Ying Ziyu were a little confused. Ever since they moved to Tongzilou, they had never received such warm hospitality from their neighbors.

Speaking of which, everyone¡¯s character is not bad, but they are not as good as Shi Pingyang¡¯s.  It's okay to walk around as an ordinary neighbor. After all, people in the 1980s were quite simple.

?????????? After thanking the neighbors, they don¡¯t have to go to the vegetable field to pick extra.

Zhu Jiayi directed Shi Pingyang to make a cucumber, add mashed garlic, chili pepper, mature vinegar and salt, add a drop of sesame oil on top, and stir evenly.

Night had completely fallen, and when the minced meat porridge was cooked just right, Yu Weili and Chang Qiuliang came back with soaked clothes.

When they saw Zhu Jiayi at the table, they all grinned stupidly with white teeth.

Yu Weili took out a handful of tiles from his pocket and stuffed it into Zhu Jiayi's hand, "Sister, this is the money we earned from helping move bricks. It's 30 cents in total, and we take care of one meal at noon.

? Two steamed buns and a bowl of vegetable and egg soup per person.  We can still help with the move for five days!  "

Chang Qiuliang carefully took out two steamed buns wrapped in oil paper and handed them over, "Dad, eldest sister, second sister, eat the steamed buns."

Zhu Jiayi lowered her head and looked at the dozen or so dirty grids in her hands that didn¡¯t weigh much. She felt a little sour in her heart, ¡°You must be hungry, hurry up and wash up and eat!¡±

The two children let out a loud sigh, and ran out with a towel with a few holes in it to wash away the sweat.

The steamed buns were honest and big. Zhu Jiayi divided the steamed buns into five portions, and each person got a big bowl of thick and fragrant minced meat porridge, chewing on the sweet and sour crunchy cucumbers. The whole family looked with genuine joy on their faces as they ate.  A rare "summer" dinner.

After her hungry stomach was appeased, Zhu Jiayi was still in low spirits, so she digested some food and continued to sleep to recuperate her body.

At six o'clock, the Tongzi Building started to get busy, and the noise of emptying chamber pots, fighting for the toilet, washing, and cooking woke her up.

After a good night's sleep, Zhu Jiayi stretched out contentedly. Taking advantage of the clear morning sun in June, she opened the bed tent and took in the 16-square-meter house.

The Shi family is on the shady side, without sunlight all year round, and it is always dark.

Shi Pingyang is a rough guy. He does the most work every day and gets the lowest wage. He leaves early and comes home late and has no time to clean up the house.  The original owner got into Qian's eyes and wanted to compete with his biological mother and sister, so naturally his heart was not here.

The two boys were looking for work outside all day long. Ying Ziyu, who was not very young, also followed the original owner to paste matchboxes.

So that the house was dirty and messy. Now that she was neither sleepy nor hungry, her senses returned, and the sour smell hit her nose, making her retching.

Shi Pingyang went to the cafeteria and bought five steamed buns with sweet potato noodles and a large jar of corn paste.

Looking at the accumulated rice stains on the jar, Zhu Jiayi felt a little messy and stuffed breakfast into her mouth with her eyes closed.

Ying Ziyu had already sensibly poured water into the large and small children who were out.

After waiting for others to leave, Zhu Jiayi first carried all the few pots and pans in the house to the sink, carefully scrubbed them several times with steel wool, and finally disinfected them with hot water.

Ying Ziyu was afraid that she would be tired, so she also helped.

Taking advantage of the good sunshine, the sisters took out the bed tents, sheets, quilt covers, and clothes at home to wash, and took out the beddings to dry and beat them.  Then they also scrubbed the furniture and floor.

They simply ate a corn pancake with hot water and took the dried clothes back in the afternoon. The whole house was clean and bright, exuding a faint smell of inferior laundry.

Zhu Jiayi now had time to call Ying Ziyu to inspect the vegetable field she had just taken over.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
