"Brother, let's be brother. I admit it, as long as she lives a happy life. I never imagined that that girl who is so timid actually learns to run away with someone Wuwu" The old man  The scholar burst into tears when he said this.

After crying, he wiped his tears and continued: "When I heard from her again, she was in a car accident and was admitted to the intensive care unit. I went to see her at that time, but she didn't see me. She didn't see me. That idiot  Girl!"

An Ran and Ace watched the old scholar talk about the past with Grandma An with snot and tears. Their eyes were red. It was because of how deep their love was that it was so painful to mention it now.

After crying for a while, the old scholar stopped, sighed, looked at An Ran and said, "You're wasting your time listening to an old man like me nagging."

"No, Mr. Gu, you are not nagging at all. If grandma were still alive, she would be particularly willing to listen to what you said." An Ran wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes, and was really moved by the old scholar's infatuation.

The old scholar felt relieved and wiped his tears: "Tell me, is there anything wrong with you coming to see me today?"

It was then that An Ran remembered the purpose of coming to see the old scholar today. She took out the photos she took from her phone and handed the phone to the old scholar: "Mr. Gu, do you know the person who took the photo with grandma?"

The old scholar took one look and recognized the person above: "This is Li Xue, she and your grandma are very good friends. Unfortunately, the two heads of the Li family and the An family have never gotten along, and gradually Li Xue and Xiu  The relationship between Xiu and Xiu has also become a lot weaker. However, when Xiu Xiu had an accident, Li Xue also went to visit after hearing about it. At that time, I was about to leave the hospital and watched her enter Xiu Xiu's ward."

"Li Xue!" An Ran muttered the name.

"Originally there was a big family in Kyoto called the Li family. Later, after the An family incident, many big families suddenly went berserk. One of them was the Li family. They moved their family to Anling." The old scholar explained to them.

    The Anlingli family!

An Ran suddenly remembered the two brothers from the Li family whom he met when he went to Yinshan. Those two brothers seemed to have a better relationship with Xingxing.

"An Ran, can I ask you something?" Seeing An Ran's absent-minded look, the old scholar probably missed Xiu Xiu.

An Ran came back to his senses and looked at the old scholar and said, "Mr. Gu, can you tell me?"

"Can you? Can you give me a photo of Xiu Xiu? There was a fire in the old yard where I lived before. Many things were burned down. Now I don't have a photo of Xiu Xiu now." The old scholar said  He looked sad.

"Okay, can I send it to you in two days?" An Ran agreed directly. The old scholar's request was not excessive at all. There were several single photos among the photos left by his grandma. He went back to choose two to copy.  Just bring it to him at once.

"Okay, okay, that's great, thank you, An Ran." The old scholar said gratefully.

The old scholar perked up because of this good news, pulled on his clothes and stood up: "I haven't been to Beijing University for a few days. You can go to the school to find me directly then. It will take a while in the library, I have nothing to do.  I¡¯m free to work as a janitor at Beijing University.¡±

"Guard, isn't this too unfair to you?" Ace frowned upon hearing this.

"No grievance, no grievance. Anyway, I just have to do something by myself." The old scholar didn't dislike it at all. He watched those little brats playing around in school every day, and he was in a good mood.

"Why don't you go abroad with your children?" An Ran asked puzzledly.

"Going abroad, what's the good thing about going abroad? All the things belonging to my ancestors have been thrown away. I won't go. If I die, I can only die in Kyoto." The old scholar got angry when he thought about his children. No matter how talented they are, they can't serve the country.  It's useless.

An Ran admired the old scholar a little more, and admired his stubbornness in not forgetting his roots.

"Let's go. If you want to ask anything, just go to the school communication room and see me. I'll read the newspaper at the door to see if those kids are good." The old scholar said and walked towards the door with his hands behind his back.

An Ran suddenly remembered something, chased after him and asked, "Mr. Gu, what is your relationship with the Gong family?"

The old scholar suddenly stopped, looked back at An Ran and replied: "We are cousins. I promised that guy to help look after the library. I don't know about other things, so don't ask me any questions about the Gong family."  Things. My mission is completed, I have no control over what the Gong family wants to do."

The old scholar obviously had something in his words, something he was unwilling to reveal. An Ran and Ace didn't want to ask any more questions and followed the old scholar out of the courtyard gate.

The old scholar holds his hands behind his backIn front, when he was about to reach the entrance of the alley, he suddenly stopped and turned to look at An Ran: "An Ran, if you can avoid some things, just avoid them. Those are the matters of the older generation. You guys  As long as we live well, nothing is more meaningful than living."

"Don't worry, Mr. Gu, I will protect myself well." An Ran knew that Mr. Gu really cared about her.

"Yes, protect yourself well, otherwise Xiuxiu will feel uncomfortable." After the old scholar said this, he strode out of the alley and took a taxi to Beijing University.

An Ran and Ace walked through an alley and came out of another alley to make sure no one was following them back to the courtyard.

After returning home, An Ran selected three single photos of her grandma from the photo album and handed the photos to Lan.  Two hours later, Lan handed the three copied photos to An Ran.

An Ran was afraid that she would forget about the photos because of the busy schedule. After finishing it, she and Ace drove to Beijing University. When the car parked at the door, she could see the old scholar reading in the reception room.

The old scholar was reading. Occasionally, a student would come over to pick up a package. He would stop to find the package, take the signed items away, and then continue reading.

Some students even stuffed two lollipops into him. He looked serious, but he still took the lollipops, looking like an old cute boy.

After watching this heart-warming scene, An Ran and Ace got out of the car when they were sure there was no one they knew. An Ran walked to the window, opened it, and placed the three photos directly on the table.

"Student ID card, mobile phone number, signature!" the old scholar said, putting down the book in his hand. He looked up and found no one at the window. He looked down and saw three photos on the table. Tears filled his eyes. He picked up the photos with trembling hands and looked at them.  The person in the photo burst into tears.

An Ran and Ace watched from a distance as the old scholar was wiping his tears, crying and laughing. They both felt their noses were sore, and they tacitly walked to their cars to leave this place of right and wrong.

"Wait a minute, I think I see an acquaintance!" Ace suddenly stopped, then turned to look at a woman not far away who was hurriedly entering at the gate of Beijing University.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
