"You're not serious!" Jiang Yan pushed Zhou Ang lightly, stood up, and glanced in the direction of the restaurant. It was deserted. It was dinner time, but there was no smell of food at all.

"Have you eaten?" Jiang Yan turned around and asked.

Zhou Ang leaned lazily on the back of the sofa and shook his head, "I haven't eaten."

"Why don't you eat? Do you know that you are still a wounded person now!" Jiang Yan was a little angry and walked towards the kitchen.

There are only some vegetables in the refrigerator and almost no meat.  Jiang Yan was dumbfounded and couldn't help but think about it, how come this man didn't know how to take care of himself!

Zhou Ang stood at the door of the kitchen, watching Jiang Yan gnashing his teeth at his refrigerator, wondering whether he should tell Jiang Yan that he usually wouldn't eat in this house.

????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? not not did not want to explain as she looked at her serious face as she took out a pile of ingredients from the refrigerator, indicating that she wanted to cook for him personally.

Jiang Yan looked worried at the few carrots and two tomatoes that she had finally dug out. She did know how to cook, but she actually learned it specifically for Zhou Hao in her previous life. After her rebirth, she had never cooked before, nor did she know how to cook.  Do you know if your skills are rusty?

    ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????OUTOUTOUT

Zhou Ang saw her holding up the tomato in her hand with a serious look on her face, and couldn't help but laugh, "If you don't know how to cook, there's no need to force it. How about we go out to eat?"

When Jiang Yan heard this, he immediately turned around, "Who said I can't cook? Don't get in the way here!"

As he spoke, he put down the tomatoes in his hands and prepared to close the kitchen door.

Zhou Ang stood at the door without moving, and Jiang Yan had no choice but to stop, "If you don't close the door for a while, the oil smoke will float out."

Zhou Ang coughed and reminded softly, "If you don't know how to cook, you can order takeout."

"There's no way I'm going to let you eat takeout!" Jiang Yan said firmly, "As a wounded person, you must at least have the consciousness of a wounded person. How can you eat something so nutritious as takeout?"

Jiang Yan looked back and saw that he was still hanging on, so he simply wiped his hands on his apron and started directly, "Okay, as for you, don't worry about it yet."

She pushed Zhou Ang out and said, "If you are hungry, eat some fruit first to fill your stomach. The delicious meal will be ready soon. I promise not to let my savior starve to death!"

Zhou Ang followed her strength and walked out, letting the little girl hold his shoulders and force him to sit down on the sofa. "Then be careful and don't cut your hand. I don't want to add another injured person."

    "Just wait and see!"

Then he turned around and skipped back to the kitchen.

The kitchen was fully equipped with kitchen utensils. Jiang Yan picked out a handy kitchen knife and processed the tomatoes and carrots, preparing to cut them into cubes.

The movements are indeed a lot rusty, but fortunately the basic skills are still there.  But when I looked at the cut pieces, they were really ugly.

Jiang Yan tilted his head and thought for a long time. Anyway, Zhou Ang was a wounded soldier and couldn't eat anything too greasy, so

"It's true that you can't see it if it's made into stir-fry, but you can't see it if it's made into porridge." Jiang Yan murmured in a low voice and poured the diced pieces on the cutting board into the pot.

Zhou Ang was sitting on the sofa, glancing in the direction of the kitchen from time to time. There was a faint sound of "gurgling", and he secretly curled up the corners of his lips.

After about half an hour, Jiang Yan came out with steaming porridge.

"Okay, let's eat!" Jiang Yan carefully placed the porridge bowl in front of Zhou Ang and handed over the spoon.

Zhou Ang¡¯s eyes fell on her slender fingers. The metallic luster of the silverware made her hands extra white.

"What are you looking at?" Jiang Yan angrily shoved the spoon into his phone, sat down on the sofa, picked up the water glass on the table and took a few sips, looking carefree and unconcerned.

But he couldn¡¯t help but glance towards Zhou Ang, watching him pick up the porridge and take a few sips.

The expressionless look on her face made her unsure whether the porridge would taste good or not. After all, she really didn¡¯t have much experience in cooking.

Zhou Ang didn¡¯t understand her thoughts at all, and continued to drink the porridge slowly.

"How does it taste?" Jiang Yan couldn't hold it in any longer and asked.

Zhou Ang paused for a moment and said nothing.

Jiang Yan added awkwardly: "You have just been discharged from the hospital.Your body has not fully recovered, and the doctor also told you to avoid greasy food, so I made porridge for you. The taste is relatively light, and I don¡¯t know if it will suit your appetite"

"It's quite delicious, unexpected." Zhou Ang smiled and raised the bowl in his hand, "The craftsmanship is good."

"Really" Jiang Yan felt a little uncomfortable and continued to pretend to drink water.

Zhou Ang finished the porridge in the bowl and was about to put it down when Jiang Yan quickly stood up and asked, "There is still something left in the pot, which has been kept warm for you. Do you want another bowl?"

    "No."

"Then let me wash the bowl." Jiang Yan reached out to pick up the bowl on the table, but his hand was held down by Zhou Ang.

"There's no need to work too hard. Just leave these things. The cleaners will come to clean them tomorrow." Zhou Ang said calmly.

There was a warm touch on his fingertips, and Jiang Yan pulled his hand back as if he was electrocuted, "Okay."

    Both of them fell silent.

"I see that you are very busy today, and you have to cook for me in the evening. Are you tired?" Zhou Ang asked calmly.

Jiang Yan shook his head, "It's okay, and taking care of you is also a promise I made. You are my savior. No matter what, I can't leave you alone."

"Is it just because of this?" Zhou Ang raised his eyes and looked over, his eyes deep, as if he wanted to see the depths of her heart through Jiang Yan's eyes.

Jiang Yan met his gaze and did not answer.

Memories from fifteen years ago came flooding back. Zhou Ang's appearance slowly overlapped and merged with his elder brother's face. Jiang Yan looked at him steadily.

"Don't worry, I will definitely protect you."

    "Don't worry, I'm here."

What Zhou Ang said came to Jiang Yan¡¯s mind one by one

"Zhou Ang, you" Jiang Yan opened his mouth, but didn't know what to say.

Zhou Ang smiled softly, "What's wrong?"

    "That" Jiang Yan swallowed.

    "Ding¡ª¡ª"

A sharp beep sounded, and Jiang Yan suddenly came back to his senses. He swallowed the words that came to his lips and quickly took out his phone to take a look at the newly received text message.

"Director Jiang, the latest news is that many companies that have cooperated with Zhou before have re-signed contracts with Zhou."

Jiang Yan couldn't help but frowned when he saw the news.
