Slytherin Code of Conduct Twenty-seven: Have the courage to doubt everything

Maybe this means that one family does not enter the same house.

After Draco and Harry were completely disillusioned that Salazar went to the women's bathroom to build his own secret room, they discovered to their embarrassment that Voldemort was also a perverted pervert who bravely broke into the women's bathroom. Think about it, what happened to him?  What about the one who discovered the secret room?  It's obviously a women's bathroom!

Draco tossed and turned and couldn't sleep at all, then he got up and went directly to the lounge.

It was late at night, and there was no one in the lounge. The lights were half-extinguished, making the words on the tapestry on the wall blurry, like flowing silver.  Draco looked at Article 6 of the Slytherin Code of Conduct with a complicated expression: be a gentle, be a lady. He was stunned.

"Draco?" Harry came out with his clothes on, "You can't sleep either?"

    "A little confused."

Harry accompanied Draco, and the two of them sat on the floor, completely ignoring the previous dogmatic rules, and quietly looked at the tapestries on the walls.  No, they weren't completely obsessed with the women's bathroom and the secret room, they were just suspicious.

From the day he entered Slytherin, Salazar was telling them how to behave in the future, how to think, how to maintain dignity and honor, and they were following his footsteps generation after generation.  They are proud of Salazar, as a prophet, as a mentor But the fact is that Salazar himself did not do it at all, what they regarded as classics and tried to abide by. What is ridiculous is that he told them  He wanted to be a gentleman and a lady, but he went to the women's bathroom by himself!  What have become of the many codes of conduct, the beliefs and dignity that Salazar left to them, and the rules that they must always abide by?

Does Salazar himself really care about this?

"If one day you discover that what you have devoted your life to may be false and deceptive, that feeling is what Draco and Harry are experiencing now.  Draco closed his eyes, and every rule could be clearly reflected in his mind. Every word of wisdom or cunning, criticism or advice was deeply engraved in his bones and blood.

"Harry, which of these codes of conduct prescribed by Salazar do you think is the most reasonable?"

"[Stick to your principles and fight for your ideals.] Draco, maybe we shouldn't be harsh. No matter what, we can't deny that Salazar is really a good teacher. He taught us a lot. Two hundred points, too  You can't guarantee that every word will be perfect, right?" Harry's heart was truly Gryffindor-style tolerant and tolerant, "It's like no one can accuse Slytherin of being all bad wizards and the other three houses are too.  Just like good people, we can't ask Salazar to do everything without making mistakes. If he can do it all, he can be a saint, and maybe even Merlin can't."

"So there is nothing in these two hundred codes of conduct that is truly an iron law, and there is nothing that cannot be broken." Draco pointed to a tapestry nearby, "Maybe, [have the courage to doubt everything], this sentence is  Is eternal." Article 103 of Slytherin's Code of Conduct is inconspicuously recorded in the last line of the eighth tapestry.

Harry looked at the row of words, tilted his head and thought for a moment, "My elementary school science teacher once taught us that learning is so that we can find out the mistakes of our predecessors in the future."

Draco was stunned for a moment, then turned his head and looked at Harry steadily for a long time, thinking about a certain Muggle saying.

¡°Perhaps they were too superstitious about the wisdom of their predecessors. If society needs to progress, it cannot always be infatuated with the achievements of its predecessors and indulge in the past. This is a truth that even Muggles understand, but wizards seem to be completely unaware of.  The things Draco used to kill the Dark Lord all came from ancient collections. He was once very proud and grateful that the Malfoy family had these ancient collections. There was no doubt that the wizards had the same idea as him.  It is also one of the places where pure-blood families are proud of themselves.

When encountering a problem, many wizards, including Draco, would only think of looking up the methods and attitudes of their predecessors to deal with the problem. If they didn't check it out, they would probably feel like they were in the dark, but they didn't even think about finding their own way, especially  Draco has lived two lives now and has experienced so many things and read so many books.

??Is it time for wizards to change their way of thinking in the future?

Well, we can¡¯t generalize. Perhaps among the wizarding disciplines, only potions are making slow progress, but a true potion master definitely needs innate talent and very little acquired training, so

    well!

Draco turned his gaze back and stared blankly ahead, hazy.??What are you going to do?  Open the secret room, kill the basilisk, then take out Salazar's letter and publish the revelation in the newspaper?  "

"Well" That's pretty much what Harry meant, "Do you think there's anything wrong with it?"

"Publish Salazar's letter, and someone from the Ministry of Magic will ask us to hand over the Hogwarts contract. That is what Salazar considers extremely important and must be guarded against being used by people with malicious intentions. A thousand years ago, Salazar  Cha just doesn't trust these 'stupid old guys'. Or at the very least, we have to explain the origin of the letter, we have to show them the tapestry, and then you have to open it in Parseltongue, and then you're seen as  The heir of Slytherin will be seen as the mastermind of the attack, and all of this can be interpreted as subterfuge and conspiracy, and in the end you will be blamed and the real murderer will go free."

"Then okay." Harry, who was overwhelmed by the blood, calmed down and admitted that what Draco said made sense, "Then at least we have to do something! Draco, you will die if you see the eyes of the basilisk.  Yes, now seeing that these two attacks were only petrified, it was Merlin's blessing. We must at least ensure that no one will be harmed again" Harry lowered his voice, "Kill the basilisk!"

Draco looked like he had seen a squid.

"Okay, Draco, it's not as difficult as you think. As long as we throw enough roosters to where it lives, I guarantee that Hagrid has a lot of them. Otherwise, we can buy them back from Hogward Village."  , use the secret passage marked on the Marauder's Map!" Look, he planned well!

Draco rubbed his temples. He had been tempered by Harry for a long time. Maybe it was unrealistic to expect a purebred Gryffindor to grasp the key points of the matter.

It doesn¡¯t matter if you find the secret room or kill the basilisk. If no one opens the secret room, there are ten basilisks inside, and the castle will be safe.  So the problem focuses on ¡®turning on¡¯!

Although the secret room does not seem to have been built by Salazar from the letter, there is no doubt that his descendants did it and distorted Salazar's intentions. The Dark Lord, Salazar's unscrupulous descendant, even distorted this secret room.  Taken to the extreme.  If it is true that only descendants of Slytherin can open the Chamber of Secrets, then the most fundamental question is, "Harry, we have to know who-opened the Chamber of Secrets," Draco said with a pale face.  A few words, "We have to make sure - he - is really dead."

The two of them exchanged glances, and Harry bit his lip uncomfortably. That possible fact made him too uncomfortable, "Draco, if he's not dead maybe, we we might be able to tell Draco first."  Professor Nepp¡¯s secret room, using that reasoning about Mrs. Norris.¡±

"As long as the professor is willing to believe a conjecture with insufficient evidence, and is willing to spend extra time secretly keeping an eye on a women's bathroom!"

Harry suddenly remembered something and his voice changed, "Draco, you don't want to stare at the girls' bathroom every day, do you?"

Draco glared at him, no longer bothering to scold him.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
