    ??

It was almost evening after finishing the cleaning. After having a big meal outside at noon, An Yi prepared to cook something simple and light in the evening. She asked Qin Yanran to cook millet porridge, and she found some fresh rapeseeds from the kitchen and made them stir-fried.  Rapeseed.

"Oh, what a big mouse!" Suddenly, Qin Yanran shouted in shock and couldn't help but jump to the table nearby, trembling with fear.

Chen Shengjiu, who was on duty outside, quickly ran in, holding his sword and shouting: "Where are the rats?"

Qin Yanran pointed at the black shadow in the corner and was so frightened that she could not speak.

Chen Shengjiu stepped forward, glanced at the mouse, and couldn't help but be a little surprised: "Why is this mouse so big? Is it a sperm?"

An Yi was cooking. He was joking about Qin Yanran's timidity. But now that he heard Chen Shengjiu say the same thing, he turned around and glanced at the mouse.

Although the mouse was in the corner, it was facing Chen Shengjiu's cold sword fearlessly, with bright black bean-like eyes and oily fur. It was almost as big as a cat, and it looked like it weighed more than two pounds.

This is the first time An Yi has seen such a big mouse.

An Yi frowned and was about to say something when Chen Shengjiu stepped forward, raised his sword and cut off the mouse's head in one fell swoop.

The mouse leaned to the side, its blood was black and stained. It twisted its calf and twitched for a while before dying.

Chen Shengjiu said proudly: "No matter how big it is, it is still a mouse. Can it still become a tiger?"

As Chen Shengjiu said, he was about to step forward and pick up the mouse, probably planning to throw it away.

"Don't move!" An Yi shouted quickly, stopping Chen Shengjiu.

"What's wrong?" Chen Shengjiu looked back at An Yi.

"Don't touch it directly. Find an old broken wooden barrel and put it in it, along with all the blood-stained soil, and bury it somewhere!"

Chen Shengjiu was stunned for a moment. Although he felt that An Yi was making a fuss, he quickly agreed. He went to the backyard outside to find an unwanted barrel, shoveled the rat corpse with a shovel, and put it in it.

Finally, after cleaning up all the bloody soil, Chen Shengjiu walked out carrying the barrel.

"Remember not to touch it. It's best to wear a mask when burying it!" An Yi reminded Chen Shengjiu again.

    Chen Shengjiu nodded.

Because of the mouse, An Yi felt a little uncomfortable and asked Qin Yanran to check the rice bag to see if there were any traces of mouse bites.

Qin Yanran came to report: "Madam, there is indeed mouse droppings next to the rice bag. Although the bag is not broken, it is"

Anyi made a quick decision: "Don't eat these prepared foods. Go out and buy new rice and noodles. Remember, when buying, be sure to pay attention to whether there are any mice in the store!"

Qin Yanran glanced at the porridge and fried vegetables that had been cooked, hesitated for a moment, and then hurriedly went ahead.

Half an hour later, the sky was completely dark, and Qin Yanran came back with only half a bag of rice noodles in her hand.

"Madam, people in the city say that there is a rat shortage recently. It is normal for rats to be found in food stores. You can see huge rats when walking on the street. I searched for a long time and finally found a very clean store. Then  The owner of the grain shop also hated rats very much, so he hung these rice noodles from the beams, but there was not much left, so he could only buy back this little." Qin Yanran said.

Anyi asked: "Are there always a lot of rats in this city?" (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
