Su Li was woken up by the alarm clock on her mobile phone at 7:40.

I just woke up, I was still a little dazed, my head hurt, I reached out to pick up my phone from the bedside table, turned off the alarm clock, felt a little anxious, and got up from the bed.

¡°I got drunk again last night, and I really can¡¯t drink like that again in the future.¡±

Su Li¡¯s mouth felt dry and her throat felt as if it was on fire.

Last night, he was accompanying an important client. In order to sign the order, he had dinner, KTV, and late-night drinking three times in a row. Although he had a good drinking capacity, he couldn't resist it.

After drinking, I secretly went to the bathroom, scratched my throat and spit it out, and continued drinking when I came back. After drinking and vomiting, I ended up so drunk that I couldn't even remember how I got home.

"Alas, I drank too much." Su Li felt dizzy. Deep down in his heart, he lamented that life was not easy, and it was not pleasant to work alone in a field.

I sat up from the bed. I just put on my slippers and found that they were wet.

"Huh? Why is the ground so wet?" Su Li suddenly woke up and hurriedly stood up.

Could it be that I was drunk last night and opened a faucet but left it open, and the water overflowed and flooded the ground?

Seeing that there was moisture everywhere on the ground, Su Li hurriedly checked the kitchen and bathroom to make sure there was no leakage anywhere.

"It's strange. I don't see any water leaks. Why is the ground so wet? It seems like it has been flooded. Could it be that a water pipe broke somewhere? But I am already on the top floor. It can't be caused by water leaking from upstairs.  . It¡¯s really troublesome. Should I ask the master to check it out myself or contact the landlord directly? Forget it, let¡¯s wait until we get back from work.¡±

Su Li shook his head, feeling a little overwhelmed. He was the person who was most afraid of trouble.

This is the house he rented. This building has thirty floors. The one he rented is located on the top floor of the building.

Looking at the time, it¡¯s almost 7:50. He has to go to work at 8:30. It takes about 20 minutes to take a bus from here to the company where he works.

He didn¡¯t dare to worry any more and was busy brushing his teeth and washing his face.

Because I went to bed too late last night, my eyes were still slightly swollen. When I washed my face, I covered my eyes with a towel. It took about ten seconds to take it off. At this time, I felt that my eyes were much more comfortable and my energy was restored.  Some.

Taking off the towel, he tilted his head to see that the gap in the bathroom window next to him that was covered with opaque cellophane was relatively small. He stretched out his hand to push the window and open it completely.

Looking out the window, Su Li's eyelids suddenly twitched.

    "Thisthis is"

Su Li¡¯s pupils dilated, he stretched his head out, looked out the window, and took a breath of air.

Looking out of the window, there is sparkling water outside. Except for the water, no tall buildings, roads, or vehicles can be seen.

    "How can this be?"

Su Li couldn't help but screamed, her heart was beating rapidly, she immediately closed her eyes, and her whole body was trembling slightly.

"I must have covered my eyes with a towel for too long and had a hallucination." Su Li thought silently, rubbed his eyes again, and then opened his eyes again.

Outside the window, there was still water, and he even saw a blue plastic slipper floating on the water not far away.

With a "bang" sound, Su Li slammed the window tightly this time. A chill came out of his heart and he rushed out of the bathroom. Because he rushed too fast, his toes kicked on the door frame on the side.  , the pain was so painful that cold sweat broke out on his forehead.

Just not caring to see if his toes were injured, Su Li limped to the balcony and opened the balcony curtains. Then, he stood by the balcony dumbfounded, his whole body stiff, his heart beating violently, and his hands unable to stop.  He was trembling slightly.

Through the row of windows on the balcony, Su Li finally saw clearly.

The city he could see was completely submerged in water, and the city turned into a vast expanse of water.

On the water, you can only see some scattered buildings popping up from a distance.

All these exposed water are all over 30 floors, below 30 floors, and are drowned by water.

The building where Su Li lived happened to be on the 30th floor. Only the top floor where he lived was exposed above the water. From the 29th floor down, everything was submerged.

"This is impossibleI must be dreaming!"

Although Su Li is already twenty-seven years old, and has experienced two years of severe beatings from society, his mind is still mature, but at this moment he is still full of fear and completely uneasy.Able to accept everything he saw, he pinched his left arm hard.

He pinched her so hard that a large bruise immediately appeared on his arm. The pain made him take a deep breath.

The severe pain and the sense of reality in front of him made him realize that everything he saw before him was definitely not a dream, and it could not be an illusion at all.

His chaotic brain slowly calmed down a bit, and he looked down at the wet ground.

Could it be that this is the real reason why the ground is wet?

After I fell asleep drunk last night, was the city really flooded?

But, if there was such a huge flood, how come there was no movement at all?  Or is it because he was drunk and fell into a deep sleep, so he didn't hear anything?

Soon Su Li seemed to think of something, opened the door, came to the corridor, and was busy patting the door of the neighbor next door.

Apart from him, there are two other residents in this unit. Su Li is not familiar with them. He only knows that the young girl living next door is a fashionable young girl. She has only moved here for about two or three months.

Because the two parties commute to and from get off work at about the same time, they have bumped into each other many times, but they have never spoken.

Most of the time I see her walking alone. Occasionally I can see her bringing boys home, but he met him three times, and the boys she brought were different three times.

    "Hey, are you at home?"

Su Li ignored politeness and banged the door loudly, but no one responded.

Seeing no response, Su Li rushed along the corridor to the door of another resident.

He remembered that a young couple lived here and they had a very noisy Chihuahua.

He was about to knock on the door, but suddenly realized that the door was not closed, but ajar.

"Is anyone at home?" Su Li paused for a few seconds, and when no one responded, he pushed the door open.

He pushed the door open, and what he saw was that the living room was in a mess. There were two pairs of shoes next to the shoe cabinet at the door.

One pair is men's leather shoes and the other is women's high heels. One of the leather shoes is turned over with the sole facing upward.

The trash can on one side fell to the ground, and the garbage inside spilled out.

There were two round plastic boxes commonly used for takeout placed on the dining table at the entrance. One box contained more than half a bowl of soup, and the other box was poured on the table. The soup noodles were spilled out, but the soup had solidified on the table.  .  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
