    Pork suddenly realized.

He felt strange when he saw Luke at noon. Like most people in the police system, he was very suspicious of how such a young man joined the serious crime team. He was simply not old enough.

Now that he heard Luke say this, he felt normal.

The night shift supervisor of the LV Forensic Center is ranked among the top technical experts in the United States.

This kind of professional network may not necessarily be strong enough, but it must be very wide. It is not too difficult to get your nephew to work as a detective in a local police station.

Pork didn¡¯t hesitate anymore and took Luke to the police station.

There are still many police officers working overtime in the police station.

There are still tens of thousands of people in this small town. The police department is naturally not like the three or two kittens like Shackelford. There are currently more than ten people working there.

Pork brought a young man in. Some of them asked a few questions, while others were busy with their own affairs and didn't pay attention at all.

Pork casually drove away the two hundred and fifty who were blocking the way, and took Luke to the evidence room. According to the numbers, he found several boxes and opened them. Inside were various sealed evidences.

Luke: ¡°Are there any gloves here?¡±

Po Ke shook his head: "Shall I go outside to find a pair for you?"

Luke rejected the proposal: "Forget it, it's too attention-grabbing." As he said that, he took out a signature pen he had with him and opened the evidence bags.

He didn¡¯t touch the evidence with his hands. At most, he picked it up with a pen and flipped it slightly to check it.

Po Ke looked ashamed: Police officers like him didn¡¯t seem to pay that much attention when collecting evidence.  I have an uncle who works at the LV Forensic Center, and the details are different.

Luke looked through many of the exhibits very quickly, at most taking a brief look at them before putting them back.

He spent a relatively long time looking at the clothes on the first pair of victims, Cathy Becker and her boyfriend Steve Erth, for five minutes in total.

¡°Then there was the mask and hood thrown by the suspected murderer that was reportedly found outside the girl Sid¡¯s house. He also observed this for almost a minute.

During this period, he closed his eyes from time to time, seeming to be thinking about something.

Pok looked curiously: What kind of operation is this?  Why do you have to close your eyes when you come to examine the evidence?

But Luke didn¡¯t explain, and it was hard for him to ask questions.

After almost fifteen minutes, Luke nodded: "That's it." He quickly sealed the evidence bag and put it all back into the evidence box.

Pork put the boxes back on the shelf one by one.

The two of them came out of the evidence room and arrived in the hall, when someone suddenly called Poke.

Pork looked over: "Dewey, what's the matter?"

This is a relatively young policeman, about twenty-five years old, with a mustache.

He glanced at Luke with an ugly expression and said nothing.

Poke turned and looked at Luke, and Luke understood: "Uncle Pock, I'll wait for you outside."

Pork nodded: "Okay, I'll take you home later."

Luke waited outside for less than ten minutes before Poke came out with a gloomy look.

After giving Luke a signal, the two walked to the police car more than ten meters away next to the gate. Poker whispered: "The murderer just made a threatening phone call to Sidney, who was temporarily staying at Dewey's house."

    Luke was stunned: "What?"

Soon he understood: "In other words, Billy's suspicion has been cleared?"

    Pork nodded gloomily.

¡°Even the most suspicious and ready-made suspects have been eliminated, so this case will have to be started all over again.

This news is not very good.

Luke's thoughts raced in his mind for a moment, and he nodded slightly: "Poke, go ahead and do your work. I'll go back alone and we'll leave after checking the information."

Poke waved his hands impatiently: "Since you are my relative, it is not appropriate to live out in this situation. I have a lot of empty rooms. I will send you back and let Belle clean up two rooms for you."

Luke thought for a moment and did not refuse: "Okay, thank you then, Pok."

Poke just nodded, greeted him and got in the car, and took him back to his home in a flash. Then he just said a few words to his wife Belle, then got in the car again and left.

Belle is a traditional housewife, a little fat, a bit nagging, but a nice person.

She smiled and said a few polite words to Luke, then went to clean up the guest room for the two of them.

Seeing Luke come in and close the door, Selina put down the file in her hand and asked lazily: "What did you find?"

Luke: "Poker just received the news that the murderer made a threatening phone call to Sidney."

Selena thought for a while and was surprised: "Ah, that Billy is not the murderer?"

Luke chuckled: "That's not necessarily the case. Don't forget, many serial killers actually have accomplices."

    Selena nodded thoughtfully.

Luke continued: "So, it's a good thing that Billy is released."

Selena looked thoughtful, and after a moment she asked tentatively: "You mean, he might continue to commit crimes?"

Luke: "Otherwise, why would he be so anxious to have his accomplices call him to clear himself of suspicion?"

Selena was surprised: "Is it really him?"

Luke thought about what he had just discovered in the evidence room, and nodded slightly: "There is an 80% chance that it is him, but he also has an accomplice."

    Selena: "Who?"

Luke smiled and said: "This person you have seen him before."

Selena frowned and thought for a while, then shook her head: "I can't think of it, we met a lot of people today."

Luke: "Just a reminder, that man had a little conflict with us."

Selena immediately remembered: "You mean, the boyfriend of girl No. 10?"

Luke nodded: "Yes. However, I have no evidence. Next, we have to watch the performance of these two people."

If it were anyone else, he would definitely have to ask a few questions about why he could make such a judgment.

Selena knew, however, that Luke had his own privacy. He would naturally say what he could say, and what he didn't say had its own reasons. Of course, she would not dig into it, she would just continue to analyze it from here.

She just frowned in confusion: "I don't have any information about Stu. Although Billy is from a single-parent family, his family conditions are very good, and there is no news of being abused. They are just two high school students, why would they use such terrible and cruel methods?  Killing people in a high-profile way?"

Luke: "When Pork was chatting with us, he said something, do you still remember it?"

    Selena: "Which sentence?"

"If it were twenty years ago, I would definitely say it wasn't him. But today's childrenwho knows!" Luke repeated Pork's words leisurely.

    Selena was also silent.

The pace of society is accelerating, and all kinds of information are rapidly impacting people's outlook. The era of information explosion has arrived.

A series of problems associated with this naturally arise.

It is a recognized fact that children are becoming more and more precocious and their behavior is becoming more and more adult.

It¡¯s not unusual for Billy and the boyfriend of girl No. 10 to do some crazy things.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
