When the red-headed boat docked at Xiawei Pier, Xu Wei and Tang Baolu saw two teams of soldiers in bright uniforms lined up neatly on the pier that had been specially cleared. One team was holding a brand-new beak gun, and the other team was holding a "Chaozhou Coastal Defense Guerrilla"  "General", "Chaozhou Wei Haimen Qianhusuo Qianhu", "Zhenhai Camp Commander", etc. often have a string of colorful flags, which is obviously a guard of honor to welcome them.

In front of the big flag with the word "Lin" in red letters on a blue background, a white-faced little man wearing a blue general's official robe and a bear patch on his chest, surrounded by a group of men dressed in nondescript clothing between soldiers and civilians,  Zheng smiled and bowed his hands to the famous Xu Wenchang.

"Hahaha, this is Mr. Qingteng? I have admired him for a long time!"

"It's just old man, General Lin is being polite. Let's talk to each other."

Xu Wei knew that he must be Lin Daoqian.  This man debuted ten years ago and must be at least in his early thirties, but perhaps because of his handsome features and fair skin, he looks to be in his mid-twenties, not much older than his boss Zhao Hao.

"I've heard the legend about Mr. since I was a child. It's really thunderous. It's so comforting to see you today." Lin Daoqian rushed forward and helped Xu Wei get out of the boat, looking very adoring.

"Where is General Lin, a heroic young man, famous in the north and south. The waves behind the Yangtze River push the waves in front, and the waves in front die on the beach." Xu Wei smiled and said New Year's greetings to him, and the guests and hosts were harmonious.

?????????????????????????????????????????????? Out of curiosity, Tang Baolu was stunned, thinking that Mr. Qingteng knew how to talk well, and I thought he was not uncomfortable with others.

After introducing the attendants from both sides, Lin Run waved his hand, and sixteen bearers carried an overly large sedan.

He warmly invited Xu Wei to ride with him, and Xu Wei did not refuse anyone who came, so he got on the sedan and sat down.  The captain of the guard shouted, "Get up the sedan chair," and the sixteen bearers steadily lifted the sedan chair and walked through the lively streets toward the guerrilla general's mansion in the center of the city.

"How about it, is this small place like mine still worthy of Sir's attention?" Lin Run asked, squinting his eyes rather proudly.

"It's amazing." Xu Wei looked at the peaceful scene of shops and business travelers on the street, which was in sharp contrast to the scenes of war and chaos elsewhere in Chaozhou Prefecture. It made people confused where was the land of Wang Hua and which was the Lord of the Sea.  jurisdictional ground.

"I have long heard that people from all over the world have defected to the general. It seems that the rumors are true. The general is really extraordinary."

"That's ridiculous, but it's just because the protection fee I charge is far lower than the imperial court's exorbitant taxes. I can also restrain my subordinates and not exploit and bully the people who come to seek refuge." Lin Daoqian said calmly: "It's not so much that this general has any past  As for people, it¡¯s better to say that it¡¯s because the government is too dark and makes people¡¯s lives difficult, so they come to me for protection.¡±

Xu Wei smiled and nodded, looking like a good gentleman.  But he secretly thought that this man surnamed Lin could see clearly and was really not an ordinary person.

But it¡¯s not a good thing for him. Such a master is difficult to deal with.

Lin Daoqian on the side also murmured secretly, everyone heard that Xu Wei was arrogant and high-minded, how could he act like a kind old lady?  Could it be that his temperament changed drastically after his balls exploded?

    ??~~

While talking, the sedan dropped down in front of the guerrilla general's mansion.

Lin Daoqian opened the middle door, invited Mr. Qingteng to take a seat in the main hall, and set up a sumptuous banquet to entertain the distinguished guests.

During the dinner, the two complimented each other, and the atmosphere was very harmonious. They drank until past noon, and then the guests and hosts left happily.

After Xu Wei took a nap to sober up, he was invited to the study in the evening, and the two of them talked about business.

"To be honest, I'm here to deliver a letter to the general on behalf of the new Chaozhou coastal defense commander Zhao Shouzheng." Xu Wei took out a letter from his sleeve and handed it to Lin Daoqian.

Lin Daoqian¡¯s coastal defense guerrilla movement is at least nominally under the control of the coastal defense colleagues.  Of course, he is not even a prostitute in the province. Whether he is a prostitute or not, Mr. Zhao, his nominal boss, all depends on his mood and needs.

He took the envelope with both hands, opened it in front of Xu Wei, took out the letter paper and read it.  The content is simply that thieves have entered the city, and the whereabouts of the prince are unknown. We, the civil and military officials, have the unshirkable responsibility to defend the country. We ask General Lin to send troops to assist. The specific actions can be discussed with Mr. Qingteng.

The letter was written very politely and made people feel like spring breeze, just like Mr. Zhao always makes people feel.  But after Lin Dao tasted it, the taste was still a bit bland, not as he expected.  Beg grandpa, sue grandma, beg him to send troops, or threaten him with harsh words, or do whatever he wants if he doesn't send troops.

"One sentence did not make General Lin feel happy."

Regardless of whether it is coercion, inducement or begging, you have to highlight the current situation in Chaozhou and how it all depends on his thoughts in order to satisfy Lin Daoqian.

He calmly put the letter paper back into the envelope and said with a smile: "Let me think twice about this. The dinner is over.""Then why did Zhao Sima bother to do something unnecessary? Mr. Pianlao took a detour to Xiawei?" Lin Daoqian couldn't help but teased: "It is so glorious to defeat the enemy independently, why do you need to ask for help from someone like me?"

"I just said that we should take a long-term view when looking at problems. I asked Zhao Sima to write this letter, not to understand the immediate siege, but for the future of Chaozhou and Fujian and Guangdong, and of course the future of the general." Xu Wei suddenly  He smiled meaningfully:

"Oh, by the way, look at my bad memory. I forgot to tell General Lin that my boss is not Zhao Sima."

As he spoke, he took out a gold-gilded name card and handed it to Lin Daoqian.

Lin Daoqian took it and took a look and saw it written in beautiful cursive script:
