    Song Wan is ill.

That night, Gu Yanting was unruly and rude. Song Wan was already injured, and he followed Gu Yanting on the road day and night. Not far from the palace, his eyes went dark and he fainted.

It was three days later when I woke up again. Above my head was a dark cloud bed tent with auspicious clouds embroidered with gold thread. The bed was made of fine huanghuali wood. The four bedposts were all carved with lifelike unicorns. In order to be realistic, each unicorn's  The eyes are inlaid with colored glaze as tribute from foreign countries.

Song Wan¡¯s parents slept on such a bed.

Song Wan was ignorant when he was a child. He picked out the eyeball of a unicorn and played with it. After he was found, he knelt in the ancestral hall for five days. The unicorn on the bedpost on the far left of this bed happened to be missing an eye.

Song Wan suddenly sat up in shock. Her body was still weak. She got up too quickly and her head felt dizzy. Song Wan frowned and pressed her temples. She looked around. The doors, windows, tables and chairs were all the same as in her memory.

    This is Shangshu Mansion!

Song Wan's eyes turned red instantly, he lifted up the quilt and rushed out the door.

Dad, mother, brother, you are all still here, everything is just a nightmare I had, right?

Just after walking around the screen, the door was pushed open with a creak, and Gu Yanting walked in with a big knife taller than him.

He had just finished training, and his gray cloth was soaked with sweat and clung to his chest, faintly outlining the shape of his hard muscles.

Song Wan froze in place as if someone had hit him in the head.

His Majesty actually gave Gu Yanting the Shangshu Mansion as a residence.

Gu Yanting glanced at her, his eyes lingering on her delicate white feet for a moment, and then raised his eyebrows: "Is your brain burned out?"

The memory came back, and Song Wan's heart was already riddled with pain. The light in his eyes went out. He slowly lowered his head and replied in a dumb voice: "I don't know how many days this slave has been sick. I have caused trouble to you. Please forgive me."  .¡±

"Three days." Gu Yanting replied, inserting the big knife into the shelf by the window, which was originally a bookshelf. After Song's father went to court, he liked to read and write there the most. Song Wan was afraid that he would lose control of his emotions, so he didn't  Dare to look up, Gu Yanting said, "If you wake up another quarter of an hour later, you will be accompanying those lonely ghosts in the mass graves."

Gu Yanting's tone was cold, and he probably meant what he said. Song Wan quickly said: "I don't think it's anything serious. If you need anything, just ask."

Gu Yanting said nothing and only looked at Song Wan.

His gaze was extremely coercive and aggressive. Song Wan's scalp was numb at the sight, and he thought hard. After a moment, he tentatively asked: "My lord, would you like to take a shower and change clothes? I will help you prepare hot water."

    Gu Yanting responded calmly: "Yes."

Song Wan breathed a sigh of relief, picked up the hem of his skirt and ran away.

Although Gu Yanting¡¯s military exploits were accomplished last winter, he still had to receive a reward. After settling on a residence, he could send someone to bring his family here, so now he and Song Wan were the only two people living in the huge Shangshu Mansion.

Song Wan was very familiar with Shangshu Mansion and quickly found the kitchen. However, seeing these pots and stoves and firewood, Song Wan suddenly realized a very serious problem.

    She never lit a fire.

Even though he was being treated as a prostitute in the past two months, Song Wan was still on the road most of the time. He was only beaten, scolded and ridiculed by officials, and he had not done any menial work yet.

So how to boil this hot water?

Gu Yanting waited for half an hour but didn't see Song Wan bring hot water. Although he knew that Song Wan didn't have the courage or ability to escape, he decided to go to the kitchen to have a look. However, as soon as he walked around the dining room, he saw the direction of the kitchen.  Thick smoke billows.

Gu Yanting frowned and used Qing Kung Fu to rush to the kitchen. From a distance, he saw a petite figure rushing into the fire with a ladle of water.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
