The stunned Jiang Yihan slowly moved his gaze downwards, looking at the telescope on the ground that his grandfather had given him. This pair of telescopes was a gift from an old friend of his grandfather during the Anti-Japanese War.

Influenced by his grandfather and fathers, the young Jiang Yihan developed a habit of photographing the table. When he was excited, he couldn't find the table and accidentally dropped the telescope in his hand.  There was only one reason that made Jiang Yihan so furious, and that was that Chu Nanfei was also making trouble with his local comrades, making arrangements to release food.

With the exception of one guard platoon, the other carriages on the military train were filled with military rations for the border defense forces. Before arriving at the final destination of the small town of Sumala, one of their tasks was to escort the military rations.

"If you touch the military rations, you will lose your head! If any of you dare to touch the military rations, believe it or not, I will kill him now?" Jiang Yihan pulled out his pistol and pulled the slide with a clatter to load it.

The director and the old stationmaster of the Laotaier Station Police Station, who had previously proposed to leave some military rations, stood aside dumbfounded. Chu Nanfei, who was originally watching, did not expect Jiang Yihan to be so unreasonable for his own black gauze hat, and an evil fire.  He shouted loudly from the top of his head: "You only feed the people with one mouthful, and you just watch people starve to death? People need to eat if they want to survive. Come on, come on, shoot!"

The emotional Chu Nanfei grabbed Jiang Yihan's pistol and pressed it against his forehead, staring at Jiang Yihan with wide eyes.

Qin Laoshi, who arrived in time, quickly stood between the two of them and said, "What's going on? Chief of staff, please calm down. Our deputy company commander Chu is a stupid kid with no education. You don't remember the faults of villains."

Chu Nanfei glared at Qin Laoshi and said fiercely: "You are uneducated, your whole family is uneducated, why don't you just hang out here."

The old stationmaster, who looked almost sixty years old and had a wrinkled face, and was wearing a cleanly starched railway uniform with many patches, grabbed Jiang Yihan's pistol and said: "Little chief, please calm down.  Calm down, I have something to say to you, please move away."

I don¡¯t know what the old webmaster said to Jiang Yihan?  Taking out a pen and paper again and writing something, Jiang Yihan, just like his name, came to Chu Nanfei with a cold face: "Fifty bags, I can only give you fifty bags at most. This is my bottom line and limit.  "

Jiang Yihan turned around and returned to the carriage. It was the only hard-seat carriage in the military train. Compared with the stuffy carriages with air leakage from all sides, it was like heaven.

Chu Nanfei glanced at the green leather carriage, and suddenly found a woman wearing a black leather jacket with long wavy hair looking at him. The camera in the woman's hand seemed to be taking pictures, and there seemed to be a large group of people in the carriage.  People wearing woolen short coats or Soviet-style hunting clothes.

Only then did Chu Nanfei realize that Jiang Yihan had just borrowed the light of an expert from the scientific expedition team, and he seemed to feel a little more balanced.

The old stationmaster stood next to Chu Nanfei, looking at the rice unloaded in the carriage and shed two lines of muddy tears. The police station chief on the side handed the old stationmaster a wrinkled cigarette and looked at the empty  Cigarette case, gave Chu Nanfei an embarrassed and apologetic smile: "The last one, I'm so sorry for causing so much trouble to the team."

The old stationmaster picked up a little girl. The little girl bit her fingers and stared at the soldiers unloading the rice with big eyes: "Grandpa, grandpa, mom said you can eat white rice tonight, are you full?"

The old webmaster nodded seriously: "Niuniu, you can eat as much as you want?"

The little girl hesitated for a moment and said innocently: "I only ate half and left it for dad. Mom said dad would come back, right grandpa?"

The old stationmaster nodded vigorously. Chu Nanfei took out a piece of compressed dry food from his satchel and handed it to the little girl. The little girl hesitated, blinked at the old stationmaster, and accepted it with the encouragement of the old stationmaster.  He came over, weakly said thank you and ran away.

After chatting with Chu Nanfei, he learned that the small water refilling station they were at was built nine years ago. Three hundred kilometers to the east is Jiuquan, and four hundred kilometers to the west is Kanzigou.  After arriving at Jiayuguan, this is the last stop to refill water.

Due to the continuous severe drought, the people who reclaimed the wasteland couldn't hold on and retreated. Laotaier Station was the only way out, either to Urumqi or back to the mainland. Faced with human beings' crazy destruction of the natural balance, nature has become cruel.  Man can conquer nature is just a slogan here.

"Fifty bags!" Qin Laoshi whispered to Chu Nanfei. Chu Nanfei's face was expressionless. Qin Laoshi sighed slightly and motioned to the soldiers unloading the rice to continue.

The old stationmaster looked at Chu Nanfei gratefully. Chu Nanfei glanced at the little girl who was looking for her mother: "What happened to the child's father?"

The old stationmaster was silent for a moment: "Lop Nur, you can't see people alive, but you can't see dead bodies."

??Every family has something that is difficult to remember. What to seize?

"Hand over the gun and don't kill!" Huang Dazhuang's roar startled Chu Nanfei. The man turned around and ran away, and the girl's body went limp and fell straight to the ground.

Chu Nanfei quickly helped the girl up. Blood seeped out of the girl's cotton-padded clothes along with the wound. Chu Nanfei immediately tore open the first aid kit and tried to compress the girl's wound. The girl's face was pale and she grabbed Chu Nanfei's hand tightly.  He put a small metal scroll into his hand and said in a weak voice: "My name is Jiang Yiyi. I have a sister named Jiang Yihan in Beijing. This is the only clue left by our parents. There are bad people threatening them"

The girl stopped breathing before she finished speaking, bang!  A gunshot echoed in the dark night.

Jiang Yihan, who was doing staff work on a military map and was highly praised by experts such as Dr. Gao and Dr. Peng, made a stroke of at least a hundred kilometers crooked, and the tip of his pencil penetrated deeply into the map.

An annoyed Jiang Yihan immediately grabbed his military cap and apologized to everyone: "I'm sorry, something may have gone wrong. I'll go take a look."

After Jiang Yihan left, Dr. Gao, who was in his fifties and wearing reading glasses, glanced at Dr. Peng, who was in his prime, wearing high myopia glasses and a big beard. The two exchanged glances, and their eyes were all focused on  He found the place on the map where Jiang Yihan's drawing made a hole.

Is it a coincidence?  Or is it the guidance of fate?  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
