When the news of Shi Yousan's execution reached Peiping, Tada Shun was discussing with his subordinates the second raid on the Eighth Route Army in Northwestern Shanxi.

From the end of October to the beginning of November, Tada Shun had ordered about 4,000 people from the independent mixed 16th Brigade and other units to "sweep" the Miyu and Loufan areas of the 8th Army Division and the 3rd Army Division of the Eighth Route Army in Northwestern Shanxi, trying to defeat the 120th Division.  A hole was opened in the defense line, but it failed after being attacked by local soldiers and civilians.

However, Jun Tada was not willing to give in, and immediately decided to deploy one unit each of the 37th Division stationed in southern Shanxi and the 41st Division stationed in southeastern Shanxi to cooperate with the independent mixed 3rd, 9th, and 16th brigades stationed in northwest Shanxi in mid-December.  and one unit each of the 26th Division, preparing to comprehensively "mopping up" northwest Shanxi.

As a result, this plan was temporarily put on hold after receiving Shiyousan's plan to counterattack southern Hebei Province. In Tada Shun's view, with the cooperation of Shiyousan's subordinates, the entire southern Hebei province could be taken down as easily as possible.

But what he didn¡¯t expect was that just when he was actively mobilizing troops and preparing to attack Jinan, Shi Yousan, who was cooperating in the battle, was killed by the Chinese side. You may say it¡¯s annoying or not.

But thinking about Shi Yusan¡¯s character, Shun Tada was relieved!

With that duplicitous guy, it would be a matter of time before someone dealt with him. If Shun Tada didn't still need him now, Tekko would have done it long ago.

??Tada Shun is a China expert and has cooperated with Shi Yousan before, but the cooperation between the two parties was not pleasant!

Unexpectedly, this guy was executed by his subordinates in the end, and it was said that he was still buried alive.

I remember when Shi Yousan served under Feng Yuxiang, in order to ensure military discipline and strengthen control over the troops, Feng Yuxiang reorganized Shi Yousan's army and replaced Shi Yousan's chief of staff and some division and brigade commanders, which aroused Shi Yousan's dissatisfaction.

"Subsequently, Shi Yousan secretly buried alive Li Bingxuan, the chief of staff sent by Feng Yuxiang to work in the ministry, as a show of revenge and protest against Feng.

After the war in the Central Plains began, seeing that the situation was gradually becoming unfavorable to the anti-Chiang forces, Shiyou Sanyi rebelled against Feng Yuxiang. In response to Zhang Xueliang's support for Chiang Kai-shek, he led his troops to abandon their positions and withdraw from the battlefield, and retreated north to Xinxiang and Anyang, disrupting Feng and Yan's plans.  The military deployment shook the morale of the anti-Chiang forces and gave Chiang Kai-shek's troops an opportunity to attack and win.

After that, Shi Yousan took advantage of his advantage as a Northeasterner to join Zhang Xueliang.  He went to Shenyang in person to meet with Zhang Xueliang, who organized the Shibu Department into 4 divisions and 20 regiments, and allocated a monthly military salary of 700,000 yuan.

During the meeting between the two, Marshal Zhang stood on the national stand and asked Shi Yousan to return all the wagons on Jinpu and Pinghan Road that he had detained to the Ministry of Railways.  Shi Yousan suspected that Zhang Xueliang had bad intentions, so he returned to the army and began to plot against Zhang.

But not long after, Wang Jingwei and Chen Jitang organized the National Government to confront Chiang in Guangzhou.  Wang and Chen sent Li Hanhun to persuade Shi Yousan to join the fight against Chiang Kai-shek. He was promised the title of member of the National Government and commander-in-chief of the Fifth Army, and also remitted 500,000 yuan.

"But Shi Yousan wanted to take advantage of this opportunity for the south to rebel against Chiang Kai-shek to expel Zhang Xueliang's troops from Pingjin and make himself the king of North China.  Therefore, he accepted the appointment from Guangzhou and became the commander-in-chief of the Fifth Army.  After Shi Yousan became the commander-in-chief of the Fifth Army, he immediately sent people to contact Sun Chu, Han Fuju, Sun Dianying and others to jointly oppose Zhang Xueliang.

During this period, Shi Yousan buried alive Zhang Yungui, the liaison staff sent by Zhang Xueliang to the Shi Ministry, and launched an army against Zhang in July.

Unexpectedly, Sun Chu and others who were originally scheduled to send troops at the same time did not follow suit, which left Shibu isolated and helpless. In addition, Shiyousan's command was incompetent, and the soldiers did not understand the purpose of the battle. In only half a month, its tens of thousands of troops were defeated.  All were wiped out by Zhang Xueliang and Chiang Kai-shek's troops.

He was such a moody guy, who could turn his back quickly than turning the pages of a book, and who liked to bury people alive. In the end, he was detained and buried alive by his subordinates. All of this seemed to be God's will!

Without the cooperation of the Third Division of Shiyou, Jun Tada did not have much confidence in counterattacking in southern Hebei, so he once again took out the previous battle plan of sweeping away the Eighth Route Army in northwestern Shanxi.

Soon, Tada Shun issued combat orders to the two regiment-level combat units of the First Army in Shanxi and the Mongolian Army to sweep northwestern Shanxi, and set the time for the general offensive on December 14.

In the following days, the Japanese troops arrived at the predetermined combat area one after another, and began a comprehensive "mopping up" of the northwest Shanxi region on December 14.

According to the arrangements of the First Army, the main force of more than 5,000 people from the 37th Division dispatched from the Taifen and Fenli highway strongholds to invade the Miyu Town area of ??the 8th Army Division from the north; the other group of more than 4,000 people dispatched from Lishi and Liulin to invade  Linxian area; and more than 6,000 people from the 41st Division departed from Lanxian, Qilan and other strongholds on the 19th.?, attack Xingxian and the area south of Baode.

During this raid, the Japanese army behaved particularly cruelly. In order to retaliate for the two previous attacks by the Eighth Route Army, the Japanese army had completely lost their humanity. The combat order issued directly by the Front Army Headquarters and the First Army Corps Headquarters was to completely destroy the northwest of Shanxi.  Eighth Route Army base area.

The Japanese army has only one explanation for the so-called complete destruction, which is to burn them all, kill them all, and rob them all. It was under such circumstances that the infamous three-guang policy was launched.

During the attack on the base area in northwestern Shanxi, the Japanese army and traitors disguised themselves as the Eighth Route Army to trap and kill the masses. At the same time, they sent out key detachments to carry out joint attacks and repeated "mopping up" to find and annihilate the Eighth Route Army's party, government and military leadership, and focused on destroying the Eighth Route Army's rear organs and facilities.

In fact, after the second phase of the Hundred Regiment War, the 120th Division expected that the Japanese army would retaliate and actively prepared to counter the "mopping up".

Facing the Japanese attack, the troops of the Northwestern Shanxi Military Region used part of the main force to cooperate with local troops and guerrillas to actively carry out extensive guerrilla warfare, harass and suppress the attacking enemy, disrupt the enemy's transportation, and cover mass transfers.

The main force of the military region avoided the enemy's edge and moved to the outside, looking for opportunities to attack the Japanese army.

First, the 4th Army Division troops successively attacked Fangshan, Yukou, Xinyi and other strongholds, and repeatedly attacked the Japanese garrison in Linxian and Anye Village.  The division's teaching regiment and other units once attacked Dongguan of Xingxian County and ambushed the enemy's "clearance and suppression" troops south of Xingxian County.

Next, the 358th Brigade and the Industrial and Health Brigade carried out multiple attacks and blocks against the enemies who were "mopping up" Miyu Town.  The 1st Independent Brigade and the 4th Column of Destiny continued to attack enemy strongholds north of Dawu, destroying roads and cutting off enemy communications.

In order to smash the Japanese army's attempt to destroy the anti-Japanese base areas in northwestern Shanxi, the Northwestern Shanxi Military Region instructed all divisions to mobilize all forces to defeat the Japanese army's plan to build roads and build points; the 358th Brigade was ordered to attack the enemies building roads from Lan County to Dashetou, and from Puming to Chijian Ridge.  , the 1st Independent Brigade was responsible for attacking the road from Dawu to Linxian, and the 4th Column was responsible for attacking the road from Dawu to Fangshan.

Accordingly, the 2nd Regiment of the Independent 1st Brigade organized more than 2,000 people to attack the highway between Dawu and Sanjiao twice, forcing the enemies in Linxian County to take a detour to Fangshan to contact Lishi; the Lishi guerrillas led the masses to attack Lishi twice.  Shi and Jun crossed the road and destroyed more than 30 miles of the road; one unit each of the 2nd and 35th regiments successively attacked Xinyi, Shangbaishuang, Zhangjiashan and other strongholds on the Fenyang-Liulin highway.

Cadres from each regiment insisting on the inner line were dispatched to form a plainclothes work group to work with the local work group to destroy the "maintenance meeting" around the enemy's new stronghold.  The first section of the 715th Regiment, together with the Linxian guerrillas, attacked the Linxian county seat and captured representatives of the Nanguan "Maintenance Committee".

The 4th Regiment of the 2nd Column of the Decisive Death went deep into Pingchuan in central Shanxi, lured Wenshui's enemies in Xiaqu Town, and annihilated more than 100 Japanese and puppet troops; the Industrial and Guard Brigade carried out continuous attacks on the Taifen Highway.

One unit each of the 714th Regiment of the 2nd Independent Brigade, the 36th Regiment of the 1st Temporary Division and the Yanbei Detachment once attacked strongholds such as Shenchi and Yangfangkou, and attacked Yijing Town three times; the 714th Regiment was stationed at Limin Fort in Shuo County  Southwest Jiejialing defeated the Japanese and puppet troops who attempted to ambush the regiment and annihilated one of them.

The 716th Regiment of the 358th Brigade was ordered to set out from the west of Loufan and rush to the mouth of the Xingxian boundary. It cooperated with the 7th Regiment to attack the "mopping up" enemies and attack the stationed enemies, so that the enemy's subordinates would dare to disturb them.

Until the end of December, the Japanese and puppet troops began to retreat in separate ways!

Although the Japanese attack was repelled, the base area in northwestern Shanxi still suffered heavy losses!

According to incomplete statistics, more than 5,000 people were brutally killed during this "mopping up". In the Xingxian area alone, 150,000 kilograms of grain was robbed and burned. In the 4th Military Division alone, 150,000 kilograms of livestock were robbed and burned.  There were more than 5,000 heads, and more than 19,000 houses and cave dwellings were burned down.

But after repelling the Japanese attack, the momentum of the Japanese counterattack was curbed, which also heralded the end of the Hundred Regiment War that lasted for nearly four months.

Subsequently, the Eighth Route Army headquarters began to count the results and related losses of this battle!  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
