When news of the Soviet-German war reached China, Li Guoyao had just accepted the award from the National Government!

Since it was Li Guoyao¡¯s subordinates who took the initiative to help this time, and the one who rescued was the 14th Army Group, a direct descendant of Chiang Kai-shek, and they also provided food supplies and ammunition afterwards, so this time the Military Commission was also a rare act of generosity.

Not only did the Ninth Army expand from Type B Army to Type A Army, but it also gave 500,000 French currency, 5,000 long guns and 300,000 rounds of ammunition.

Of course, medals are also indispensable. All officers and soldiers participating in the war have medals.

The most important thing is that this time, whether it is money or other rewards, they were all quickly received, without any delay like before.

Although compared with the losses of the Jiujiu Army in this battle, this money and materials are really nothing, but the designation given to one more division is a good thing. With this designation, Li Guoyao can expand the Jiujiu Army into three.  The 27 regiments of the Ninth Division's Ninth Brigade were behemoths.

By then, Li Guoyao could even incorporate the first, second, and third columns into the temporary ninth army!

So after returning to Jinan, Li Guoyao began to reorganize his troops.

However, Li Guoyao had just prepared to expand the Ninth Army, and later received news of the outbreak of the Soviet-German war!

After receiving the news, Li Guoyao¡¯s mood was indescribably complicated!

Li Guoyao truly felt sorry for this war that lasted four years and cost tens of millions of casualties.

In order to win this war, the Soviet people paid a heavy price!

According to statistics, a total of about 27 million people died in the Soviet Union in this war, more than 60% of which were civilians, and almost every family had casualties.  In addition to heavy casualties, the Soviet Union also suffered huge material losses.

Such a war was not only a loss for the Soviet Union, but also a tragedy for the entire world.

However, as a country that was also deeply invaded, the outbreak of the Soviet-German War could greatly improve China's international environment.

Since the Soviet Union and Germany went to war on the Western Front, Japan would surely be relieved of the threat from the northeast, which would then push Japan to move south quickly, intensifying conflicts between Japan, Britain and the United States and other countries.

Under this circumstance, the United States, Britain, France, the Netherlands and other countries will inevitably change their previous isolation attitude and support China.

Therefore, the outbreak of the Soviet-German war was really encouraging news for the struggling Chinese people.

¡°And as a member of the Transnational Party, Li Guoyao knew very well that less than half a year after the Soviet-German War broke out, the Japanese finally, driven by external and internal situations, extended a criminal hand to the United States, and the Pacific War broke out.

After the outbreak of the Pacific War, the United States began to provide large-scale assistance to China, and China's war of resistance ushered in a major turning point.

In fact, from now on, the United States has realized the threat of the Japanese. First, the Roosevelt administration extended an olive branch to Chongqing, and then the U.S. government abolished the "U.S-Japan Trade Treaty" that was beneficial to Japan's invasion of China. In the near future,  The United States also wants to freeze Japanese assets in the United States and so on.

All these things are intentionally or unintentionally curbing Japan's development, and finally stimulated the Japanese people's nerves and made them take risks!

For Li Guoyao, whether it is the outbreak of the Soviet-German war now or the Pacific War in the near future, it is a rare opportunity.

Especially for the latter, the outbreak of the Pacific War shifted the center of gravity of Japan's war southward. Both the Chinese battlefield and the puppet Manchukuo area will be regarded as cows by the Southern Army. Elite troops and materials will be continuously transferred to Southeast Asia.  It's time for Li Guoyao's troops to return to their hometown in Northeast China.

Therefore, from now on, Li Guoyao must be prepared to go north!

With such considerations in mind, on July 6, Li Guoyao moved the headquarters of the Ninth Army to Tianbaozhai in the Taihang Mountains, and at the same time ordered the logistics departments remaining in Xiong'er Mountain to move to southern Hebei one after another.

Li Guoyao then carried out a major reorganization of the Jiujiu Army. After the reorganization, the Jiujiu Army was expanded from the current two divisions and four brigades to three divisions and nine brigades, with 27 field infantry regiments alone.

In addition, the army also has a directly affiliated cavalry regiment, an artillery regiment, an air defense regiment, a guard regiment, an engineering regiment, a logistics support regiment, and a transportation regiment. The total strength of the army exceeds 80,000.

In order to make up for the vacancies in the army, Li Guoyao not only revoked the designation of the Shandong Guerrilla Corps, but all its subordinate units such as Wen Debiao, Lu Wenlong, Lu Zhanwu, Zhu Hong, and Huang Mazi were incorporated into the temporary Ninth Army. At the same time, he also transferred two troops from the Jiangnan Guerrilla Army.  Thousands of troops marched northward.

This almost crazy expansion plan was implemented after being discussed and approved at the military meeting.!

On July 8, Li Guoyao signed the personnel appointments for the officers of the various units of the Ninth Army!

Li Guoyao is still the commander of the army, Xu Hu and Wang Zhanhai are still the deputy commanders, Ma Desheng is the chief of staff, Lu Zhanwu is the deputy chief of staff, Huang Shang serves as the logistics minister, and Liang Yong serves as the director of the telecommunications room.

The commander of the 177th Division is Zhang Tengjiao, the deputy commander is Gao Hu, the division chief of staff is Zhang Hao, the commander of the first brigade is Lu Ding'an, the second brigade commander is Ni Zhiliang, and the third brigade commander is Long Dayun.

The commander of the 194th Division is Xie Baojun, the deputy commander is Li Dingguo, and the division chief of staff is Xu Wenlong.  The subordinate commanders of the first brigade are Yun Hu, the second brigade commander You Keyong, and the third brigade commander Zhou Hu.

The temporary commander of the 9th Division is Wen Debiao, deputy division Lu Wenlong, chief of staff Zhu Hong, the subordinate first brigade commander Zhou Hu, the second brigade commander Niu Dapeng, and the third brigade commander Zhang Jianyong.

Xue Huang, commander of the cavalry regiment directly under the army, Liu Yan, commander of the artillery regiment, Niu Jin, commander of the air defense regiment, Yang Bing, commander of the engineering corps, Zhu Zhiguo, commander of the logistics support regiment, and Wang Guohua, commander of the transportation regiment.

In addition to the above-mentioned troops, Li Guoyao also formed Zhang Shaolin's independent brigade and Guo Haiyu's women's brigade into separate armies. The independent brigade is a three-unit Category A brigade, with Zhang Shaolin as the brigade commander, Wu Dajun as the deputy brigade commander, and Chen Dafei as the  Chief of Staff and Director of Intelligence, Zhou Qiang, Lin Li, and Han Liquan serve as heads of the main regiments.

The establishment of the female soldier brigade is a two-regiment Type B brigade, with Guo Haiyu as the brigade commander, Wang Lijuan as the deputy brigade commander and chief of staff, and Chen Xueling as the logistics director.  Zhou Wei, Cheng Ernv, Yunque and others served as leaders of each regiment.

In addition, Li Guoyao also transferred elite soldiers from various units to form a cavalry group. This group is mainly cavalry and has three cavalry regiments and some directly affiliated units. Lu Dashan serves as the commander, Chen Jianzhong serves as the deputy commander, and Gu Mingtang serves as the chief of staff.  Wu Yunqiqige, Hu Zhi, Wu Tiancheng and others served as the main group leaders.

Different from the organization and combat mode of the Japanese cavalry regiment, Li Guoyao's cavalry group was mainly light cavalry. Each regiment was a standard infantry regiment of 2,500 people, and the cavalry group was not equipped with large-caliber artillery.  , even the number of mortars is very small.

In the words of Chen Jianzhong and others, except for the number of artillery pieces, their cavalry group is completely a mounted infantry.

And this is actually what Li Guoyao wants. He wants to form a rapid reaction force. All soldiers can cut and kill immediately, dismount and attack cities and seize territory.

Li Guoyao also made adjustments to the Jiangnan guerrillas. After the adjustment, the Jiangnan guerrillas added a brigade-level combat establishment. After the headquarters and Huang Dazi's headquarters were jointly organized, apart from the 20,000 people transferred to the headquarters, there were still remaining  There are 4 infantry brigades, a total of 8 regiments, and more than 20,000 troops plus directly affiliated troops.

After the adjustment, the Jiangnan guerrillas still have Jiang Feng as commander-in-chief, Li Jianxin and Huang Mazi (Huang Zhanhu) as deputy commanders-in-chief, Lu Fengying as chief of staff, Guo Wenjun as intelligence director, and Luo Dingguo, Yang Le and others as brigade commanders.

In addition to the above-mentioned troops, Li Guoyao also integrated the intelligence department and the special operations team. The two special forces were mixed into the Special Service Group Six, with Lu Guohua as the team leader, Zhou Cheng as the deputy team leader, and Xu Ziyu and Liang Yong both served as deputy deputies.  Team leader.

The six special service groups are divided into the special service group and the action group. The special service group is responsible for intelligence collection and analysis, and is headed by Hou Dazhuang.

The action team is responsible for a series of armed operations such as internal security, anti-rape, and infiltration, and is headed by Zhou Cheng.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
