You can search "Anti-Japanese Iron-Blooded Mission" in Baidu to find the latest chapter!

The Iron and Stone Army is different from the general puppet army. It is a team with a larger organization, a complete range of arms, and complicated affiliations.  The total strength is more than 16,000 people, which is equivalent to a three-unit infantry division of the Japanese army or a Type B corps of the Chinese army.

What¡¯s more important is that this unit is an elite unit selected by the Japanese. This unit is not only equipped with the most sophisticated equipment, but also has the most rigorous training and the most stringent review. It can be said that everyone is the elite among the elite.

So even though they are puppet troops, their combat effectiveness should not be underestimated. Even some of the Kwantung Army are no match for them, and they can be called the strongest puppet army.

The Iron-Stone Force does not have a headquarters and is composed of a liaison department and two battle units.  The unit code name was taken from the "Iron-Stone Discipline" and "Iron-Stone Training" in the Puppet Manchukuo military training, and all its subordinate units also started with the character "Iron".

The Liaison Department of the Iron and Stone Force is equivalent to the headquarters of a general army. It contains the Staff Department, the Adjutant's Office, the Ordnance Department, the Military Medical Department, the Military Law Department, the Munitions Department, the Intelligence Department, etc. The head of the Liaison Department is Japanese Army Major General Hirohiko Sakurada.

There is an infantry brigade and a cavalry brigade under the Liaison Department, as well as a number of technical arms.

Its infantry brigade is code-named Tiexin Troops, and its brigade commander is Major General Awaye. It has two regiments, the 26th and the 37th. The 26th regiment is headed by the puppet Manchukuo officer Liu Depu, and the 37th regiment is headed by Nan Qingyi.

Different from the general puppet army with large numbers and few empty soldiers, the Iron and Stone Army has a real organization. Each regiment has 4 infantry battalions, 1 combat artillery company, 1 mortar company, and 1 engineer.  Company, 1 baggage company, 1 command platoon, 1 communications platoon, and 1 health team.

Each infantry battalion has 4 infantry companies and 1 heavy machine gun company.  Each infantry company has 188 people below the company commander, equipped with 12 Type 96 light machine guns and 12 ** grenade launchers; the combat defense artillery company is equipped with 8 Type 41 flat-fire cannons; the mortar company is equipped with 8 Type 82 mortars.  Gate; the heavy machine gun company is equipped with 8 92 heavy machine guns.

Therefore, the total strength of an infantry brigade alone exceeds 7,000, which is not weaker than a mixed brigade of the Japanese army.

In addition, the cavalry brigade of the Iron and Stone Troops is code-named Iron-Blooded Troops, and the brigade commander is Major General Kaoru Iwata.  The department has two regiments, the 47th and the 49th, with Hu Kebatour and Guo Wentong as their commanders respectively.

Unlike ordinary cavalry units, the cavalry of the Iron and Stone Army are all heavily armored cavalry. The organization and weapons and equipment of the troops are far superior to ordinary cavalry. Even the two cavalry brigades of the North China Front are far inferior.

Take Guo Wentong¡¯s 49th Regiment as an example. The regiment has 4 cavalry companies, plus 1 cavalry artillery company, 1 heavy machine gun company, 1 baggage company, 1 command platoon, and 1 communications platoon.

Each cavalry company has 256 people below the company commander, equipped with 12 Type 96 light machine guns and 12 Type 1 grenades; the cavalry artillery company has 4 Type 14 cavalry cannons, and the heavy machine gun company has 6 Type 13 heavy machine guns  .

That is, a cavalry regiment of about 1,500 people, equipped with 50 light machine guns and 6 heavy machine guns, as well as more than 40 grenade launchers and multiple artillery pieces.

Looking at the cavalry regiments of various divisions of the Japanese army, they are only strong and not weak.

In addition, the Iron Stone Force also has a chariot unit code-named Iron Tiger Unit, a communications unit code-named Iron Wave, a baggage unit code-named Iron Wheel, and a North Korean special force code-named Iron Man.

Since its establishment, the Iron Stone Force has been fighting under the command of the Japanese Army's 1420 Unit. The combat location is the Jidong area. Its mission is to serve as a vanguard for the Japanese army, encircle and suppress the Eighth Route Army, serve as Japanese cannon fodder, and ensure the security of the Japanese-occupied areas.

With the coordinated operations of this unit, the Eighth Route Army in eastern Hebei suffered heavy losses and the situation was not optimistic.

But just when the Japanese army in Jidong was preparing to drive out or annihilate all the Eighth Route Army in the territory, they suddenly received an order from the Kwantung Army headquarters to have the Iron and Steel troops return to Rehe immediately.

As soon as the troops arrived in Chengde, they learned that the battle in Tongliao and Chifeng was urgent, and then the Kwantung Army Headquarters ordered the Iron and Steel troops to go north.

Although the headquarters is only more than 400 kilometers away from Linxi, which is more than 150 kilometers closer than the 29th Division, because the headquarters is not a mechanized force, they arrived at the battlefield much later.  In the 29th Division.

But being able to march more than 400 kilometers in five days is enough to prove the strength of this unit.

As soon as he arrived at the battlefield, Lieutenant General Gao Pinbiao called all the three commanders of the Iron Stone Force to the headquarters.

There were no pleasantries, no banquets, just military maps and combat orders.

After briefly describing the battlefield situation at this time, Gao Pinbiao immediately ordered the infantry brigade of the Tieshi Army to immediately enter the battle and take over the position west of Linxi.

At the same time, its cavalryThe team cooperated with the cavalry regiment of the 29th Division to bypass Linxi County and conduct a search attack towards the area where the 14th Division was surrounded.

Under the order of Gao Pinbiao, the Japanese attack began again.

Unlike the previous attack, this time the Little Devils really spent a lot of money. Not only did they concentrate all the artillery and tank troops of the 29th Division and the Iron and Stone Army, but Gao Pinbiao also applied to the Kwantung Army Headquarters to use special smoke in combat.

This request for instructions was quickly approved by the Kwantung Army Headquarters, agreeing that they should use special cigarettes when appropriate.

However, what depresses Gao Pinbiao and others is that since it is spring now and the northwest wind is raging, special smoke cannot be used on the frontal battlefield. In desperation, they can only turn the main attack direction to the west front.

Stationed at the west gate position in Linxi is the third column and the third brigade. The brigade captain Li Hua is a Manchu. He has been serving in the Jiangnan guerrillas before and was recently transferred to the Northeastern Marching Army as the brigade captain.

Unlike Zhou Dafu and others, Li Hua went to the Northeast to fight, which was equivalent to returning home. His hometown was in Rehe. At this time, Chifeng was also placed under the jurisdiction of Rehe, so Li Hua fought back to his hometown as a standard.

In the morning battle, Ximen was only attacked once by the Japanese army, and the intensity of the Japanese attack was also very limited, so the losses of the three brigade were not large.

However, in the afternoon, a large number of Japs gathered at the west gate, which made Li Hua feel the pressure. He immediately put half of his troops into the first-line position, and the rest served as a reserve team to guard the second-line position.

At 1:10, the Japanese army began to shell the west gate and the attack began.

The Japanese commander of Ximen is named Yujiro Kurino, and he is the brigade commander of the Iron Stone Infantry Brigade.

For Major General Kurino, although he is commanding an Imperial Association Army, he is not inferior at all, because the combat effectiveness of this unit under his command is no worse than any infantry brigade of the Kwantung Army, even  Yu is even stronger.

And because of their performance in Jidong, the Kwantung Army Headquarters has already talked to him. When the next batch of promotion personnel are reported, his name will appear on the list of people promoted to Army Lieutenant General. This makes already  Major General Kurino, who had been stuck in the position of commander of the Major General Brigade for more than five years, was very excited.

But Major General Kurino also knows that this matter is not certain. If he does not perform well during this period, his promotion plan may be ruined, so he attaches great importance to this battle at the moment.

Because of this, he, the major general brigade commander, appeared at the forefront of the battlefield and personally directed the siege.

Major General Kurino has already learned about the situation of the Chinese army on the opposite side. It has less than one regiment of troops, and its weapons and equipment are normal. There are not many heavy weapons.

Compared to the Iron Heart Brigade, which is armed to the teeth, the support/person on the opposite side is not on the same level at all.

And the defenders on the opposite side have been fighting the 18th Regiment of the 29th Division for several hours in the morning. According to the captain of the 18th Regiment, the troops on the opposite side suffered heavy casualties.

From this point of view, defeating the opponent will not be a big problem, not to mention they have a secret weapon.

Therefore, Major General Kurino immediately ordered Liu Debo, the commander of the 26th Regiment, to immediately assemble his troops and use the 1st Battalion as the main force to launch an attack on the outer positions of the west gate of Linxi.  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
