When fighting a war between countries, you must be cautious, and it will not be easy at the end. Although the Emperor of Japan has issued a surrender edict, not everyone among the millions of troops hanging overseas may be willing to surrender.

Those who are unwilling to surrender have their own reasons. Some are completely brainwashed by the Bushido spirit and are unwilling to accept such a failure.

There are also some people who have done too many bad things, especially the Japanese soldiers on the Chinese battlefield, who burned, killed, looted and committed all kinds of crimes. Therefore, they are worried about retaliation from the Chinese after laying down their weapons, so they are unwilling to surrender.

Therefore, after the surrender order was issued at the base camp, many troops continued to fight against the Allies, and some even persisted for decades. For example, the Japanese second lieutenant Hir¨ Onoda on the Philippine battlefield, who continued to fight after Japan announced its surrender.  He persisted in the guerrilla war in the Philippines for 29 years.

Therefore, in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the armistice edict and to comfort and express condolences to the commanders of the Kwantung Army, the China Expeditionary Force, the Southern Army, and the commanders of the front and army forces, the Japanese royal family sent three princes to three directions on August 17.  Convey Hirohito¡¯s will in detail.

The Lieutenant Commander of the Army of Takeda Palace, King Hende, went to the Puppet Manchukuo area; the General of the Army of Asaka Palace went to Nanjing; the Colonel of the Army of King Haruin of Kanin Palace went to Saigon.

Lieutenant Commander Hengde Wang arrived in Northeast China on the evening of the 17th and conveyed Hirohito's will in detail to Yamada Otsuzo and other officers at the Kwantung Army Headquarters.

The next day, when he was going to Linjiang to convey Hirohito's condolences to the Puppet Manchukuo Emperor Puyi, and to Dunhua to convey the imperial edict to Seiichi Kita of the 1st Front Army, he turned out to be a staff officer of the Kwantung Army with King Hengde and is currently fighting in the Kwantung Army.  The squad leader, Colonel Cao Zedong, specifically reminded him that the Soviet ground forces in the east had reached the Yanji and Jingbo Lake areas, and their air force activities were quite frequent.

Since the announcement of surrender on August 15, Chinese people in major cities and villages in Northeast China have hoisted the Chinese flag. In many areas, Chinese people who have been angry for many years have begun to take action with this flag.

Some former Manchukuo military and police personnel have begun to rebel.  Therefore, he advised Takeda Palace to consider every possible means to leave the Northeast battlefield quickly for safety reasons.

Takeda Palace, who accepted Sogo Sadago's advice, conveyed Hirohito's armistice intention to Harem Jun of the 3rd Front Army and his subordinates, and then flew to North Korea.

When Takeda Palace¡¯s plane flew to Seoul, it was escorted by four fighter jets driven by Captain Masakuni Kamada, the instructor of the 26th Educational Flight Team of the 101st Educational Flight Regiment, and Lieutenants Zaihisa Goto, Shigeru Fukuda, and Shinroku Nishitani.

But when these four planes returned to the Kwantung Army headquarters from Seoul and prepared to land at Tonghua Airport, they found that there were many Soviet aircraft parked at the airport.  With no way to go, these four enemy planes finally made a suicidal "slide and reverse" at a lower altitude, and all crashed and exploded on the runway of Tonghua Airport.

After receiving the domestic surrender order, the Kwantung Army¡¯s deputy chief of staff, Matsumura Chikatsu, immediately went to Tokyo to conduct detailed research on issues related to handing over weapons and positions to the Soviet army.

On August 18, the Kwantung Army Headquarters held a meeting of the chiefs of staff of all armies and major units, conveying relevant orders and studying specific steps such as handing over weapons. At the end of the meeting, Yamada Otsuzo gave instructions.

Afterwards, the Kwantung Army Headquarters contacted the Chinese army and the Soviet army, and the three parties held talks to discuss specific surrender matters.

During this meeting, the Kwantung Army sent its chief of staff, Hikosaburo Nakashin. During the meeting, Japanese personnel repeatedly begged the Soviet side to respect the honor of Japanese soldiers and protect Japanese expatriates after they surrendered and handed over their weapons.

The Chinese representatives, as well as the Soviet marshals and generals, expressed their understanding of the request of the Japanese representatives, and based on their policy towards Japan, they made the following more tolerant provisions for Qin Yanzaburo on that day.

After disarmament, the Japanese army handed over all municipal and other powers.  Except for local supplies, large-scale movements of troops and military supplies are not allowed.  After the Japanese army was disarmed, they were allowed to still wear military ranks and carry sabers, and the general's adjutants and officers' orderlies remained in their original status.

At the same time, in key places in the Northeast, the Japanese army acted as guard before the Sino-Soviet troops were stationed. After the Sino-Soviet troops arrived, the Japanese troops themselves disarmed and handed over their weapons.

Finally, there is the Kwantung Army General Headquarters, which will be disbanded after all its units hand over their weapons. The communications, vehicles, liaison aircraft, etc. required during this period will be provided by the Chinese and Soviet armies.

After more than half a month of handover, by late August, the Chinese and Soviet armies had all accepted the surrender of the Kwantung Army.

Since then, the more than 600,000 troops of the original Kwantung Army, as well as the 148 generals who commanded this army and controlled various levels of institutions in the puppet Manchukuo, have all become prisoners of war.

This Japanese Customs was established on April 12, 1919, named after the area east of Shanhaiguan, China. The Kwantung Army had finally disintegrated by August 15, 1945, when Japan announced its surrender, and the "Kwantung Army Military Song" that represented the voice of the invaders disappeared.

From this point on, the arrogant Japanese militarism, like their army, has become the dust of history!

Although Japan surrendered, the trials of war criminals and other matters continued, and even some disputes about the war continued decades later.

But that is no longer the focus of this book. After the Kwantung Army surrendered, Li Guoyao and the troops under his command also completed their historical mission. As a soldier, Li Guoyao has lost his stage.

From the end of 1937 to the surrender of Japan, Li Guoyao has lived in this era for eight years.

These are the most glorious eight years of his life, and they are also the hardest eight years of his life!

In the past eight years, he has grown from a special soldier to a commander-in-chief. In the eyes of people, the anti-Japanese hero and the super god of war have become a myth!

At the same time, it took him eight years to completely integrate himself into this era from a time traveler!

Here he has his wife and son, here he has his brothers and thousands of people who support him. His roots have taken root and sprouted in this era, and even blossomed and bore fruit!

Although the war is over, the responsibility of soldiers is not!

Many things will happen in the coming time, and even a larger-scale war will break out, but Li Guoyao and his troops will never participate in it. He is determined not to fight a civil war.

Li Guoyao has decided that whoever wants to fight a civil war will fight it. This unit under his command will neither participate in the civil war nor strive for hegemony. He will use this unit to build up the Northeast and reorganize the Northeast that was damaged by the Anti-Japanese War.

As for what to do in the future, let¡¯s wait until those people in the pass decide the winner. Maybe then he will adapt to the current situation and embrace peace and unity. Who can say for sure!  (Remember the website address: www.hlnovel.com
