Ruan Qi was stunned when he heard this.

    "A prediction?"

"Yes." Old Davis smiled and nodded, "There are two kinds of prediction skills in the Davis family. The first one is to predict things, that is, you can see everything that will happen to the person being predicted in the future. And the second one is to predict things.  Seed is a prophecy.¡±

The prophecy of the Davis family is not to predict what will happen in the future through words, but to predict future dangers through words and give correct guidance.

Those who implement the prophecy will not pry into the future of the person being prophesied.  But he can sense the greatest danger that the person being predicted is about to encounter through prophecy. The prophecy conveys this dangerous signal to the prophet, and the prophet predicts ways to avoid risks based on the prophecy.

This is somewhat similar to Chinese divination.

Old Davis explained to Ruan Qi.  Ruan Qi learned that prophecy would not spy on her future, so she nodded and agreed.

"Then Miss Qisha, come with me. The prophecy technique cannot have a third person present. Please ask Mr. Xi to wait outside for a moment."

Seeing that she couldn't follow him, Xi Jiu couldn't help but look a little gloomy.

"Prophecy is such a mysterious thing. You can't tell what will happen in the middle. How can you let the little girl be present alone?"

He grabbed Ruan Qi's wheelchair and refused to let go with a cold face.

Old Davis was also a man who loved his wife as much as her life. Seeing Xi Jiu's reaction, you could guess what he was thinking.

He shook his head in a funny way: "Mr. Xi, the prophecy of the Davis family will not cause any harm to the predicted person. Miss Qisha is my benefactor, I will only help her, not harm her."

Ruan Qi also raised her hand and tugged at the corner of Xi Jiu's clothes.

"Jiujiu, can you wait for me outside the room door? If there is any danger, I will yell and you can rush in to save me."

The double consolation from Ruan Qi and Old Davis eased Xi Jiu's tense expression.

He pushed Ruan Qi to the door of the prediction room in a wheelchair, knelt down and rubbed her head.

"I'm right outside. If you need anything, you must call me."

Ruan Qi nodded her head obediently, then controlled the wheelchair and entered the room with Old Davis.

This room is where old Davis used his prediction skills.  The room was very dark, with thick curtains drawn around it. Only a few lit candles were placed on the round table in the center of the room.

Old Davis walked to the round table and smiled at gentleman Ruan Qi: "Miss Qisha, please come and sit down."

Ruan Qi controlled the wheelchair and slid to the edge of the round table, and Old Davis sat opposite her.

There was a black wooden box in front of him.  Old Davis opened the wooden box and took out a deck of cards.

    Ruan Qi¡¯s eyebrows moved slightly: ¡°Tarot cards?¡±

Old Davis smiled and shook his head: "Tarot cards are indeed a very effective divination technique. But this pair in my hand is not."

He randomly pulled out a card and turned the card to Ruan Qi.

Ruan Qi saw nine golden stars on the card. Gold threads were connected in series between the stars, and the crisscrossing was very complicated.

"This is a star divination technique unique to the Davis family, specifically used to make predictions." Old Davis explained briefly, and then put the thirteen star cards in his hand on the table.

"Miss Qisha, please close your eyes, empty your mind, and don't think about anything."

It is very easy for ancient warriors to empty their minds.

Ruan Qi emptied the coffin directly, closed her eyes and leaned on the wheelchair.

Old Davis began to practice astrology.

The dark room was silent.  Only a pair of old hands under the candlelight quickly turned over the golden star card.

The flipping speed of the star card was very fast at first, but gradually, the hands seemed to be put on weight, and the speed of picking up the star card became slower and slower.

Old Davis¡¯s expression gradually changed from relaxed to solemn.

He stared at the star cards with solemn eyes. After a long while, he turned over one of the cards with difficulty with his heavy hand.

The face of the star card came into Old Davis's field of vision.

When Old Davis saw the thirteen blood-red stars on the card, his expression suddenly changed.

He looked at Ruan Qi subconsciously.

Ruan Qi still closed her eyes, her beautiful face exuding a gentle light under the candlelight.

Old Davis looked a little ugly.  He took back the star card, scrambled the thirteen star cards, and made another prediction.

Ten minutes later, the second prediction results were placed on the table.

Old Davis looked at the thirteen blood-red stars with an ugly expression on his face.point.

He lowered his eyes and stared at the blood-red stars. After a moment, he looked up at Ruan Qi. After hesitating for a long time, he finally spoke.

"Miss Qisha, you can open your eyes now."

Ruan Qi slowly opened her eyes.

She looked at the old Davis sitting opposite.  The old gentleman no longer had his usual gentle smile, and his face was solemn.

Ruan Qi's mind moved slightly: "The prediction result is not good?"

Old Davis hesitated for a moment and said ¡®hmm¡¯.

"Miss Seven Kills," he held down the star card with thirteen blood-red stars, used his fingertips to slide the star card along the table to Ruan Qi, "This is your prediction card."

Ruan Qi picked up the star card.

Burning blood-red stars came into view.

And the number of stars is thirteen.

In foreign countries, the number ¡®13¡¯ symbolizes misfortune and disaster.

In Leonardo da Vinci's famous painting "The Last Supper", Jesus had a dinner with his disciples before his death.  The 13th person who attended the dinner was Judas, a disciple of Jesus.

It was this Judas who betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver, causing Jesus to be tortured.

There were 13 people attending the Last Supper, and the date of the dinner was also the 13th.

Since then, the number 13 has been a symbol of misfortune.

"Miss Seven Kills should know the meaning of this number in Christianity and Nordic mythology." Old Davis said, "It means ominous. Miss Seven Kills, your deck of cards is very dangerous."

Old Davis has been predicting for decades, and he can count on one hand the number of times he has divined thirteen blood-red stars.

If the ominous cards of star card divination are divided into four levels: small evil, evil, big evil, and super evil.  Then the thirteen blood-red stars will be the only ones in the 'super fierce' level.

And this unique one has now been drawn by Ruan Qi.

Ruan Qi doesn¡¯t know whether to praise her luck or cry about her misfortune.

She looked at the thirteen bloody stars on the card and said jokingly: "Not only do I have cards now, but I also have more honors. I think I should buy a few lottery tickets right away, maybe I can win the jackpot."

"" Old Davis' eyes were very complicated.

He didn¡¯t expect that this girl could still laugh.

"Miss Qisha," he said with a heavy tone, "the thirteen blood-red stars mean that you will face a very terrible danger in the near future. And this danger will make you suffer a lot and lose your life."

Old Davis didn¡¯t want Ruan Qi to be too nervous, but there were some things he had to remind him.
