Chapter 234 High Value Target

"They're here again!" A peacekeeping soldier on the high wall shouted loudly, "Damn it, this time they're all coming."

Ivan looked down from the wall, and saw that the rebels of the Free Liberation Alliance in the distance were all moving here again, and the dark crowd seemed to be more numerous than before.  His expression changed slightly, "They had planned a retreat just now, and they were arranging reinforcements. Damn it!!! Their number is at least more than two hundred now."

Lin Rui said to Yelena, "Are you ready?"

Yelena nodded, "I can do it anytime."

Lin Rui said to Peng Lefeng in a deep voice, "Let's start taking off!"

The helicopter took off again, and the strong airflow driven by the rotor swept out a large amount of dust.  After flying to a certain height, Lin Rui realized that this time the rebels really came out in full force.  Most of the child soldiers led the way, followed by many adult soldiers.  It seemed like they were trying to use their numerical superiority to completely suppress the peacekeepers' counterattack.

Lin Rui said to Peng Lefeng, "How about it, can you fly over without being hit?"

"It should be OK. I checked the engine. Generally, the ceiling of civilian helicopters is 2,000-4,000 meters. Military aircraft can reach more than 6,000 meters. The "Apache" armed helicopter developed by the American Hughes Company has a practical ceiling of 6,250 meters.  "Although this aircraft is not an armed helicopter, it is a French military version." Peng Lefeng nodded, "As long as we maintain a certain altitude, ordinary light weapons cannot attack us."

"That's good!" Lin Rui whispered, "After we find the command vehicle, we can lower the height."

"Understood!" Peng Lefeng shouted in a deep voice.

On the wall below, the captain of the United Nations peacekeeping force looked up at the helicopter that was disappearing, and said with a wry smile, "He is simply looking for death."

"Be respectful, Captain. Even if he is seeking death, he is doing it for you guys." Ivan said coldly with a cigarette in his mouth.  "In your eyes, we are profit-seeking mercenaries. But we have not received a penny from you, nor have we received any money from civilians. We have helicopters, but we have not abandoned you. We have only done this to save you.  Show your respect to our people. I think you should respect us more."

The captain was silent for a while and then said, "As a soldier, I admire your combat capabilities. However, I still don't respect your purpose of fighting for money. Soldiers should fight for the country and the nation, not for money."

"How do you know that I have never fought for my country?" Ivan sneered. "In Afghanistan and the Middle East, I shed blood many times and watched my comrades die around me. At that time, I felt like a hero.  . But when I returned to China, I realized that what I did was just a joke. Let me tell you what fighting for the country is, and that is fighting on your own land. And all wars that occur on the territory of other countries are  Fight for profit, fight for money.¡±

The captain did not refute this time, but said calmly, "If I can go back alive this time, I am ready to retire."

In the distant sky, the helicopter was very close to the command vehicle of the Freedom and Liberation Alliance.  Lin Rui looked down through his binoculars and saw several black officers wearing red berets in the command vehicle, waving their hands and shouting.  He was signaling to the people around him to raise their guns and shoot at the planes in the sky.

Seven or eight soldiers raised their guns and fired randomly, but Peng Lefeng controlled the height of the plane very well.  At this height, the range of those assault rifles is nowhere near enough.

Lin Rui whispered, "Let's descend a little and give those guys a little surprise."

"Are you sure?" Peng Lefeng said with a smile.

"Don't talk nonsense, just do it." Lin Rui pulled the trigger of mg4 and smiled.

"Okay! Sit tight." Peng Lefeng controlled the plane to make a spiral descent.

This kind of spiral lift is of great practical significance for helicopters when conducting battlefield reconnaissance.  When ascending, the helicopter's power is fully turned on, spinning and roaring upwards, giving you the thrill of soaring into the sky; when descending, you have to hold the joystick tightly to rotate and fall at a constant speed. Once the descending speed exceeds 3 meters per second, it may enter the aircraft and easily cause the aircraft to fall.  You must be careful about the "vortex ring" that destroys people.

Peng Lefeng was now in a vertical spiral descent, landing steadily and accurately - after a slow spiral landing, the helicopter accurately hovered directly above the target, with its nose facing the command vehicle.

"It's a pity that this is an ordinary machine. If it were Wuzhi, I could turn those guys below into a ball of mud." Peng Lefeng said bitterly.

Lin Rui had been ready for a long time. The machine gun fired a burst, and the dense bullets passed by, raising a series of dust on the ground.  Several Free Liberation Alliance soldiers were hit by bullets and fell down wailing.

?In just an instant, Peng Lefeng controlled the plane to rise rapidly again.  During flight, it swings 30¡ã to the left and 30¡ã to the right; swings forward to 30¡ã and swings back to 30¡ã The flight arc is gentle and smooth, with clear ups and downs between takeoff and landing.  Under the clear summer sky, the huge helicopter is like a naughty green dragonfly, playing "swing" on two invisible threads in the sky. It is light and naturally elegant.

This is a pendulum flight, used to avoid ground fire.  It only hovered again when it reached a certain height.  "Huh, it's so dangerous." Peng Lefeng took a breath and said, "These guys below are going crazy because of our tossing. What should we do next?"

Lin Rui turned around and looked at Yelena and said, "Hey, beauty. It's your turn. Can you tell which one is the commander below?"

"On the surface, it looks like the second black man on the left, wearing a red beret. Because he was the one commanding just now. But in fact, I suspect that the one over there without a hat is more valuable. Because just now we descended for a surprise attack.  Even the red beret was subconsciously protecting him." Yelena frowned slightly, "So I suspect that person is more valuable."

Snipers are ghosts on the battlefield. They often attack enemy commanders and important targets on the battlefield.  Almost all snipers have received training in how to identify valuable targets.  Their guns are accurate and their eyes are even more poisonous.  Therefore, on the harsh battlefield, subordinates do not need to salute their superiors.  Because that would expose the commander to the muzzle of an enemy sniper.

Lin Rui has absolute confidence in Yelena.  He nodded and said, "Follow what you think! Kill that important target and they will be completely panicked."

"They seem to feel threatened and are starting their vehicles to evacuate!" Peng Lefeng sneered, "But they can't get rid of me."

"Don't even think about getting rid of the bullet." Yelena calmly picked up the sniper rifle and half-knelt at the hatch door.
