"How long is it until that damn hospital?" Lin Rui frowned.

"There are still more than thirty kilometers, can he still hold on?" Sergey turned around and asked while driving.

Lin Rui pushed his head back and said, "Don't talk or look around while driving. This is how car accidents happen."

"I think it should be possible, but I guess he won't be able to hold on for long. In this weather, he has a continuous high fever. It is very dangerous to maintain such a high body temperature." Jiang An whispered.  "We have to find a way to lower his temperature."

"Turn on the air conditioner." Lin Rui gritted his teeth.

"It was damaged a long time ago. The bullet may have damaged the compressor of the air conditioner. Now the car is as hot as a tin oven." Park Dongxiang said through gritted teeth.

"Where's the first aid kit? Take out the alcohol in it." Lin Rui nodded and said, "Dip absorbent cotton dipped in alcohol and apply it on his body. It should be able to help lower his body temperature."

¡°This is a good trick, boss, where did you learn it?¡± Sergey said with a smile.

"Being a Chinese soldier, you have to learn a lot." Lin Rui didn't even raise his head. "But this still treats the symptoms rather than the root cause. We must rush to the border refugee camp in the east quickly and we can't encounter any more accidents."

"I understand, boss." Sergey nodded and continued driving.

"Actuary, how are the two children?" Lin Rui asked in a low voice.  He was asking about the two black children who were brought out of the ruins.

"It's okay, I'm just hungry. I gave them some chocolate just now." Jiang An whispered, "I heard from these two children that it was the Russian agent who saved them."

    "Oh?" Lin Rui frowned.

"When the war started, they didn't have time to evacuate. Maybe their family members were dead, or maybe they didn't care about them at all. Anyway, they were abandoned in the war zone. Later they met Alexei and he rescued them.  They. They have been together these days. Until not long ago, Alexei was injured. And the fighting became more intense, and they were unable to go out to find food." Jiang An whispered.

Lin Rui nodded silently.  "Fortunately, they and we are both lucky. A few days later, if Alexei had died before we found him, these two children would not have survived. We sent these two children to the refugee camp, at least  To be able to keep them alive.¡±

Jiang An nodded, and both of them looked at the scorched ruins of the city in the distance, silent.

The journey went smoothly, although they encountered a small group of troops midway.  But when the other party saw the blue helmets on their heads, they did not choose to use force, but cooperated to get out of the way.  This is the only South Sudanese armed force they have encountered recently that is reasonably reasonable.  Another reason is that it is very close to the border, and there are peacekeeping troops stationed in the refugee camp.

These South Sudanese armed forces avoid conflict with them because they are afraid of causing more trouble.  If they were elsewhere, they might not be so lucky.

Soon they arrived at the refugee camp, which had no decent buildings at all.  Just two layers of barbed wire were pulled up in the open air to surround the entire area, and the refugees lived inside the fence.  There are messy tents everywhere, and those tents come in various styles and colors, because they are all aid supplies from other countries.  All the refugees looked gray, their clothes were dirty, and their eyes were dull and desperate.

"Damn it, I can't imagine living like this, like a captive animal." Sergey whispered.

"In the face of war, not everyone has the ability to resist. The truth of the war is that one group of people treats another group of people as cattle. Because the way to solve the problem between people is consultation and negotiation, violence is used between cattle.  Solve everything." Lin Rui whispered.

"Then who are we?" Jiang An whispered.

¡°We are in the violence business.¡± Lin Rui opened the door and walked out of the vehicle.  The second lieutenant of the peacekeeping force guarding the entrance blocked them, "Hey, guys, walk slowly. I need to register your serial numbers and names."

Lin Rui stopped and turned to Crazy Horse, "Tell him our serial number and identity."

Crazy Horse didn¡¯t say a word at all. He grabbed the peacekeeping force second lieutenant by the neck and stuffed him into the car.  "Look here carefully, this guy is going to die. He needs first aid. We won't tell you any number or name, but if this guy dies, I will stuff your head into your ass."

"You'd better believe him." Lin Rui shrugged.

"Who are you?" the second lieutenant of the peacekeeping force asked with an ugly expression.

"I think it's better for you not to know." Jiang An patted his head.He said over his shoulder, "Bring these two children in, they need to be taken care of. Also, find a doctor quickly. This will be good for all of us."

"Are you mercenaries?" The second lieutenant of the peacekeeping force looked a little unnatural.

Lin Rui nodded, stuffed a few rolls of banknotes into the second lieutenant's breast pocket, patted him and said, "We worked for money, and now you have received the money, so now you do too. Where is the doctor we need?"

"Okay, I'll take you there, but it's best not to say you are mercenaries. Doctors don't like mercenaries." The peacekeeping lieutenant sighed. He knew what these mercenaries were.  Under this situation, everyone wants to end the peacekeeping mission as soon as possible and leave as soon as possible, but the second lieutenant is not willing to cause himself such a big trouble.  So after thinking twice, he remained silent.

"Sergey, Park Dong-sang, carry the guy in the car in." Lin Rui waved as he walked away.  Seeing this group of lawless armed men entering the emergency area, the second lieutenant felt helpless.

¡®Hey, who let you in?  "A doctor in the emergency ward said loudly.

"Emergency, I'm sorry we are not used to queuing." Lin Rui nodded, "But this person's condition is very serious."

The doctor looked at Alexei who was brought in, and his face changed obviously. He frowned and said, "This is a gunshot wound. Who are you?"

"This is a battlefield, doctor. We saved a man, and we hope you do the same." Jiang An looked at him and said.  "You're a doctor, and here's a patient who might die."

The doctor listened to Alexei's heartbeat and breathing with a stethoscope. Although he hesitated for a moment, he nodded and said, "Okay, we'll try our best, but I can't guarantee that he will survive. What if he doesn't survive?"  ¡¡±

"Just do your best." Lin Rui nodded, "We are right outside. If you need anything, you can always come to us."
