"What should I do?" Jiang An looked at Lin Rui and said, "Do you really want to take him to find someone?"

"Take him with you." Lin Rui thought for a while and said, "We are not familiar with the terrain and need a guide. And he is always more familiar with Gus Moz than us. What if he is lying and we miss it?"  Should we come back to settle the score with him again?"

Jiang An nodded and said to Sergey, "Russian, search his body carefully. Don't find any communication or positioning equipment. Handcuff him and take him to the car. Find someone to keep an eye on him and don't let him play tricks."  .¡±

Lin Rui nodded and said, "By the way, others saw him when he went out. Because he is Gus Moz's contact person and may have other backgrounds. If someone finds out that he has been arrested by us, the situation may not be good."

"Okay, damn it. Then where should I hide this guy? Put it in my pocket and take it out?" Sergey frowned.  He was grumbling, but he still took the shop owner out.  He found an Arab robe, wrapped it around the man, and pushed him into the car.

Lin Rui thought for a while and said, "You guys can check this store by the way to see if there are any other suspicious clues. I don't really believe this person."

Jiang An nodded and searched the store with several team members and found some weapons and ammunition, as well as a large amount of cash.  It seemed that this man was right, Gus Merz was in trouble, and even he was already preparing to run away.  The weapons and cash should be what he used when preparing to escape.

"Boss, it seems that the situation is similar to what he said." Crazy Horse nodded.

"Okay, close his shop door so that no one will notice that he is gone. Then let all the brothers get in the car and set off." Lin Rui shook his head and said, "Today is really chaotic."

Jiang An nodded, asked the mercenaries to tidy up the store, and then closed the door when he left.  After getting in the car, Lin Rui pulled off the shopkeeper's robe that was wrapped around his head and said, "Lead the way. If I find that you are deliberately delaying or playing other tricks, I will immediately make you look good."

The man nodded repeatedly, and under his leadership, Lin Rui and others came out of Zahu and drove all the way towards Mosul.  It is no exaggeration to say that this city is currently the most unsafe place in Iraq.  A large number of extremists are entrenched, fighting with Iraqi government forces and Kurdish armed forces every day.

The city has been devastated by war, and there are sporadic street fighting everywhere.

There are bullet marks everywhere, and there are craters on the ground made by mortars, and there are some bigger ones that should be caused by rocket launchers, maybe roadside bombs.

"Be careful. It seems that even if we don't enter Mosul, it's still dangerous in the surrounding areas." Lin Rui frowned.

There is smoke everywhere on the road, some of which are burning scrap tires. Extremists use these as simple battlefield smoke screens. Burning these tires in the upwind direction can block the opponent's sight.  Although this method is not popular on the table, it is practical and uses local materials.  The only downside is the stench of burning rubber.

It looks like the fighting here is over, and Iraqi government forces are setting up makeshift checkpoints.  "Hey, you guys, stop." A government soldier came over and shouted, "This place is blocked and no one is allowed to approach."

Crazy Horse stuck his head out of the car window and handed him a card, "We are employees of a military company, a second-level authorized defense contractor. We have a special mission and must pass here."

"But I did not receive the relevant order, sir. The order we received is to block this area, establish a defense line and hold on here." The soldier said loudly.

"Then go find the Americans. They should have stationed military advisors in your army. I'll talk to him." Crazy Horse frowned.

"Sir, I am carrying out the orders of the Iraqi security forces, not the Americans." The soldier looked at Crazy Horse.

"That's good, but maybe your superiors don't think so. To tell you the truth, our mission is the highest-level security mission of the U.S. military, and it is related to Iraq's national security. So why don't you call and ask for instructions?"  Crazy Horse looked at him and said.

"What's going on?" A heavily armed man came over. His iconic pot head looked like a Yankee at first glance.  But instead of wearing a helmet, he wore sunglasses and chewed gum.  He rolled up his sleeves, revealing two arms covered with yellow hair.

"They have to pass through here." The Iraqi soldier shook his head and said, "I'm explaining to them."

"At this time, which bastard is rushing to die?" The American turned his head and looked at Crazy Horse, "Hey, what do you do?"

At this time, Lincoln opened the door and got out of the car, "Get out of here,"?Nathan, get your people out of my way.  "

"YouLieutenant!" The American was stunned and spit out his gum.  He rushed over and hugged Lincoln, "Haha, Lieutenant Lincoln, are you still alive?!"

"Nonsense, you're not dead. Why can't I live?" Lincoln patted the Yankee Jonathan hard on the back.

Jonathan finally let go of Lincoln and said, "Lieutenant, I heard that you had a hard time after you retired."

"We all have a hard time, Jonathan. It's not easy to adapt to ordinary life." Lincoln whispered.

"By the way, why are you here?" Jonathan asked.

"Like you, I also joined a military company. This time, we have a mission to go over. You know the dirty work of the Department of Defense." Lincoln patted Jonathan on the shoulder, "Are you responsible for training them?  Why don't you go say hello for me?"

"Of course, but it's very dangerous ahead." Jonathan looked at the ID card hanging on Lincoln's chest.  He said in surprise, "Oh my god, are you in Black Island Company?"

    Lincoln nodded, "Yes."

"That is a company that has in-depth cooperation with the US military. You should have access rights as a defense contractor. It is not a violation if I let you pass, but don't blame me for not warning you, it is indeed dangerous ahead." Jonathan nodded.

"Don't worry." Lincoln patted him on the shoulder.

After Jonathan turned his head and whispered a few words to the Iraqi soldier, the Iraqi soldier moved the roadblock and allowed them to pass.  "Thanks, man!"

"What the hell. Nice to meet you, Lieutenant." Jonathan waved.

He watched Lin Rui and others' car drive away. It wasn't until they left that he took a cigarette and took a drag with some disappointment.

"Instructor, who are those people?" the Iraqi soldier frowned.

"I was a lieutenant when I was in the reconnaissance company." Jonathan was silent for a while, "I owe him a few favors. I really didn't expect that he would take this path. But to be honest, it seems that we don't have anything else besides this.  The road is going well."
